Complete sets of the Polyanthos are very rare. The plates were engraved by Snyder, Samuel Harris, Jr., D. Edwin, John R. Smith, and Master J. Kidder. On the completion of the fourth volume of this series it was succeeded by "The New-England Galaxy and Masonic Magazine," a weekly paper which was continued to 1828 or later. See Buckingham's "Personal Memoirs," vol. I., pp. 53-61.
