February 10, 1865, New York Times, Commodore Vanderbilt Arrested, Wednesday afternoon Officer DODGE, of the Broadway Police, arrested CORNELIUS VANDERBILT for driving over Mrs. CAROLINE WALTER in Broadway, corner of Fulton-street. The Commodore was taken to the Tombs Police Court, but no complainant appearing, Justice HOGAN dismissed him. Mrs. WALTER, whose abode is in Sheriff-street, was taken thither. She was not seriously injured.
