The laundry list of terrorist warnings handed to the Bush administration prior to 9/11 makes the President and others look like "bumbling idiots or a bunch of conniving criminals" responsible for the mass murders at the Twin Towers and in Afghanistan and Iraq.
These are the harsh words of Timothy McNiven, an outspoken critic of the President's handling of 9/11 and a 29-year U.S. Defense Department operative still under contract with the government.
He says not only did the Bush administration purposely ignore Al Queda in the months preceding the WTC attacks, but the situation is even more disturbing, considering his military unit way back in 1976 devised a mock terrorist attack of the Twin Towers exactly like what occurred on 9/11.
McNiven, who first went public in an affidavit included in a 9/11-related federal conspiracy (RICO) lawsuit filed against Bush and others in 2004, claims his unit was ordered to create the "perfect terrorist plan" using commercial airliners as weapons and the Twin Towers as their target.
The publicized version of the study, commissioned by Congress, was to identify security lapses and submit corrective measures to lawmakers. However, McNiven claims the real purpose of the study was to brainstorm how to pull off the perfect terrorist attack using the exact same 9/11 scenario.
The study, commissioned to C-Battery 2/81st Field Artillery, U.S. Army, stationed in Strassburg, Germany in 1976, specifically devised the scenario of the Twin Towers being leveled by Middle Eastern terrorists using commercial airliners and even plastic box cutters to bypass security.
To silence critics, McNiven has successfully passed a credible lie detector test regarding his participation in the study as well as other specific orders given to him by his superiors in case of a real attack on the Twin Towers.
The head of the 1976 mock terrorist plan was Lt. Michael Teague of Long Island, who McNiven says was given specific orders by higher-ups in the military to use the Twin Towers as the terrorist target.
McNiven said he has been unable to contact Lt. Teague, but was interested in his opinion now that "the 9/11 attacks happened the way we planned them in 1976."
"I remember Lt. Teague changed the scenario of the supposed study from a 100 story building to the Twin Towers," recalled McNiven, emphasizing that Lt. Teague was acting on specific orders from unknown superiors.
"He then said he thought it was very strange to be asked to devise a plan to blow up your own home town. But as I watched the Twin Towers really collapse on the morning of September 11th, I realized I was watching the very same thing we devised in the 1976."
Since that ominous realization, McNiven has devoted his entire life to alerting the American public about the similarities between 9/11 and the 1976 study without much success, his story basically being ignored by politicians and the mainstream media.
"Why am I doing this? Why have I spent every waking hour trying to bring this story to the American people?" asked McNiven, claiming he still is following a strange direct military order given to him more than 25 years ago.
"During the course of the terrorist plan we were devising, I made the statement to Lt. Teague that if the WTC was ever attacked like we planned, I'd go public. I was then physically assaulted and told never to reveal anything we were doing regarding the Twin Towers."
However, about a week later a strange turn of events occurred. For no apparent reason, McNiven claims his superiors completely changed their minds.
"I was given the direct order that if the Twin Towers were ever attacked the way we discussed in the 1976 study, I was to do everything in my power to
bring the similarities to the attention of the American people.
"I have no idea why they changed their minds, but I was then emphatically told that this order was never to be rescinded - never - because those who would
rescind it, would be the very same people who turned against the American people."
Besides taking a lie detector to verify his story, McNiven has made public a detailed list of about 40 names of those individuals who took part in the mock terrorist plan, including Col. Robert Morrison, Maj. Joe Dipiero, Sgt. Middleton, Sgt. Arroyo and many others.
"There were also people from the Defense Department and the CIA who were monitoring the study, but I wasn't able to get their names," he added.
Some of McNiven's most recent assignments with the Defense Department include work on the Northwest Drug Task Force and various other drug smuggling and weapons trafficking cases.

The media big shots, like a gang of school yard bullies taping shut a little guy’s mouth, have placed a big, black curtain around the 9/11 story of WTC janitor William Rodriguez, silencing him as if he screwed up their fictitious plot in a television script already written.
Rodriguez has desperately tried to tell his story, but claims the "bullies with money and power" have kept him quiet, the reporters perpetuating a government fraud and the media bosses, acting like Tony Soprano, sending orders to keep his mouth shut or else!
Although it's impossible for a working man like Rodriguez to pierce the corporate veil and finger the top dogs, evasive comments by the underlings from places like NBC and The New York Times when questioned about the Rodriguez blackout, indicate somebody’s hiding something since all lips are zippered tight like a bunch of street thugs protecting the "family name."
Across the board from all the major networks to all the so-called top notch daily newspapers in the country, the ghost of janitor William Rodriguez is now back alive, well and in the flesh four years later, reminding all the big shots everywhere it doesn't pay to tell a lie, especially with a man on a mission like Rodriguez.
Although the strange media blackout has left Rodriguez shaking his head in disappointment and wondering why he has more freedom of speech abroad than at home, he vows now, more than ever before, never to stop talking until every last American has heard his story, listening to the cold, hard facts how the north tower of the WTC came down from an underground explosion not just burning jet fuel as the government contends.
Admittedly perplexed by being written out of the tragic script by the 9/11 Commission and what he calls the media fiction writers even though he is one of the main characters, Rodriguez now thinks the American people are ready to listen since distrust for big media and big government has reached epic proportions, even creeping into the hinterland and heartland of America where the elite count on a passive following.
But most importantly, Rodriguez hopes his story will finally be told, every last single morsel of truth, in memory of the 3,000 killed and the 200 friends he lost at Ground Zero, adding they "deserve nothing less than full truth."
A Nightmare for Government Officials
Rodriguez's story, verified by at least 14 eye witnesses and a burn victim, has become a veritable nightmare for officials clinging to the official story, probably deciding the only way to handle him is to make the 'boogey man in the bad dream' go away.
And that's exactly how Rodriguez has been treated by the so-called big shots in high places, being treated like the "bad guy riding the black horse" instead of being heralded as the 'white knight' for saving hundreds of lives on 9/11 and sticking to the truth.
In faith walks a man on a mission, but the government's problem with Rodriguez doesn't lie in his moral convictions but rather in corroborated eye-witness evidence which, in this case, is much stronger than any scientific proof offered to support the government's burning jet fuel theory.
So, instead of openly dealing with Rodriguez he is conveniently hidden from the official 9/11 Commission record, even after testifying behind closed doors. He also has conveniently being hidden by the mainstream media, Rodriguez saying in countless interviews, his words have either been deleted, manipulated or made to fit the official government account.
And the reason why Rodriguez is a walking time bomb, waiting to explode the government story, is that his story makes complete sense, something the government story has been lacking from day one.
"I've never believed the government story that two planes brought down the towers. I know the truth because I experienced what happened that day. By all rights, I should be dead, but luckily I am alive to tell the truth if only someone would listen. I am here to tell the truth for all those who died and especially for my 200 friends who I feel a special obligation." said Rodriguez in a telephone conversation from his New Jersey apartment.
"The American people aren’t stupid. They have just been deprived of the vital information. If they listen to me, the truth will set them free."
And for critics who doubt his honesty and sincerity, Rodriguez says may he be struck by a lightening bolt if he isn't "telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help me God."
Rodriguez and 14 Other Witnesses Can't Be Wrong
In a nutshell, on the morning of 9/11 Rodriguez, 44, was huddled together with 14 other people in a sub level 1 basement office, preparing for a day's work like he did every day for 20 years at the WTC. Without warning, suddenly the frightened group felt a tremendous explosion emanating from somewhere below them in one of the five remaining WTC sub levels.
Not only did the group hear the explosion, all 14 felt the floor tremble and saw the walls crack just seconds before the group heard another distant explosion coming from high above. Although unaware of the cause, Rodriguez later learned the second explosion, occurring seconds after the first basement blast, turned out to be the jetliner strike.
Further evidence of a tremendous basement blast came moments later when a man by the name of Felipe David, burnt on his face, arms and hands, entered the office yelling "explosion, explosion, explosion!" David had been standing at a nearby sub level 1 freight elevator shaft when he was severely burned from fire coming up the shaft from the basement explosion.
As Rodriguez pulled David to safety outside the WTC, there is absolutely 100 per cent agreement and not one contradiction among the 14 people with Rodriguez, as to exactly what happened in those early minutes before and after the jetliner strike on the morning of 9/11.
"Now, what really upsets me is that my story never appeared in the 9/11 Commission report after I told it to them behind closed doors," said Rodriguez about his 2004 meeting with commission members. "They never followed up with verifying my testimony and basically when the report came out, there was no mention of my statements and the other evidence of a basement explosion when they decided only the airliner brought down the towers.
"This is totally unacceptable and shows they are trying to cover up something. How could anybody not believe there was a massive explosion below ground level after talking with me and the other 14 people who witnessed the very same thing. It refutes the government story point blank and that's why they wanted me behind closed doors and why they never mentioned my name or my story in their final report.
"I am asking the American people right now to demand another open and fair investigation not for my sake, but for the memory of all those good, innocent people who died. We can't allow the real perpetrators of this crime to get away and I believe my testimony, if allowed to be heard, will help bring the guilty parties to justice once and for all.
After Rodriguez's story first appeared two weeks ago in The Arctic Beacon web site at www.arcticbeacon.com and The American Free Press, two alternative news outlets, he has been deluged with interviews and appearances by other alternative media sources, but again categorically ignored by the mainstream press.
Summing up his feeling about the media blackout, Rodriguez this week in a letter written to Bypass Media, another alternative source, while trying to get an interview, wrote:
"Since I was pulled from the rubble after saving hundreds of lives, I had the only master key available on that day (see documentary about my experience at www.cinemar.com), I realized that my original story was changed constantly by the national networks. It was edited, manipulated, completely deleted, etc. Never once have I had my complete story told by a major news outlet in this country.
"I also testified behind closed doors to the 9/11 Commission and my testimony does not shows up on the final report, mainly because I went against the official story. I was there, I was made a 'National Hero' here and in Puerto Rico. I have sued the President in an ongoing federal lawsuit after realizing a major manipulation of the facts that I experienced (see www.911forthetruth.com). I have become, besides the spokesperson for the families of 9/11, an activist in search for the truth. My story has to be told."
Big Shots Respond To Media Blackout
When Doug Pasternak, head of NBC's investigative unit, was asked this week in a telephone conversation why not one single second of Rodriguez's story aired on the network after hours of footage was shot at Rodriguez's house in June 2004 after the 9/11 Commission hearings, he said:
"It simply didn't add anything new. The part about the basement explosion wasn't the focus of our story. We were concerned about his statements of a hijacker he supposedly encountered several months prior to 9/11 in the World Trade Center. Again, it wasn't the focus of our story and, like I said, his story didn't add anything new."
Asked why he didn't question the 9/11 Commission’s overt error of leaving Rodriguez's statements out of the final report, Pasternak deferred all further questions to Barbara Levin, communications director for the network.
In an email response, dated June 29, Levin said:
"Wanted to let you know that NBC News does not comment on our newsgathering." Besides NBC's reluctance to air Rodriguez's story, he was pinning his hopes of airing the truth in a recent NBC 9/11 mini series project headed by screen writer Graham Yost and Hollywood producer/director Ron Howard.
Although Rodriguez had spent a considerable amount of time interviewing and escorting Yost through out New York in an attempt to interview survivors, he was recently notified by Yost that NBC had pulled the plug on the project.
In an email sent to Rodriguez by Yost only weeks ago, he wrote in a disappointed manner:
"To refresh your memory, my name is Graham Yost. I was the writer/producer working on NBC's miniseries about 9/11. As you may have heard, NBC has decided not to proceed with the miniseries. It was primarily a financial decision. Dramatizing a story of this magnitude, scope and importance is an expensive proposition. If we were to do something like this at all, we knew we had to do it right. NBC, Imagine (Ron Howard and Brian Grazer) and I decided it would be better not to do it, than to do it in any but the best possible manner.
"The other writers and I had finished scripts for the first four hours, chronicling the events leading up to the attacks. I was half-way through writing a three hour section of the miniseries depicting the day of the attacks when it became clear that the project was not going to proceed.
"I am very proud of what we wrote and I was, of course, very frustrated and disappointed that we were not going forward. But, as upset as I was, it was one of the other writers (Chris Brancato) who gave me the best perspective. "Look at it this way," he said, "for eight months it was your job to learn as much as you could about the most significant event of our time." For that I am truly grateful.
"Going into this, Ron Howard said that doing a miniseries about 9/11 could well be the most important project of our lives. He was right. The fact that it wasn't produced doesn't change that.
"P.S. As far as I know, ABC is still working on their 9/11 miniseries. I wish them all the good fortune in the world. I know the writer, director and producers on their project take it every bit as seriously as we did."
Although Yost thinks ABC is taking the project seriously, Rodriguez thinks otherwise.
"I have made numerous attempts to get involved with the ABC project, but they don't want to have anything to do with me. They won't return my calls and I just wonder what kind of documentary they are doing?"
Rodriguez said not only has he been ignored by NBC and ABC, The New York Times has also shut its doors on the Rodriguez name and story.
Times reporter Kevin Flynn and Jim Dwyer, who interviewed Rodriguez numerous times before publishing their best seller called "102 Minutes: The Untold Story in the Fight to Survive in the Twin Towers," ended up publishing the book without using Rodriguez's name or fully recounting his story.
After the book hit the stands, he becoming extremely discouraged and disillusioned with the hypocrisy and lying in American journalism, Rodriguez said this about Flynn and Dwyer's bestseller:
"If I was the last survivor out of the north tower, rescued hundreds of people, almost killed three times and declared a national hero, how could they leave my story out of the book? They mentioned nothing about the basement explosion, the other 14 people or Felipe David who was burned with skin hanging from his arms from the basement blast.
"I even helped the man out of the lobby of the building with the wheel chair, saving his life and when the account of his story came out, they didn't even mention it was me after I specifically told them.
"Best seller! Right? Who are they trying to kid?"
Regarding the deletion of the Rodriguez story, Flynn in a telephone conversation this week from his office at The Times, said:
"I don't think I should comment about any of this to a third party. If Rodriguez wants to talk to me about it, have him call."
When Rodriguez was told about Flynn's invitation, he declined the offer, saying he had no need to talk with someone obviously perpetuating a fraud to the American people about a story of such social and political importance.
And to make matters worse, regarding at least four stories by Times reporters that Rodriguez said were either manipulated or changed, Flynn referred all questions by email to media communications director Katherine Mathis, who at the time of this writing did not respond to a request for answers.
Not to be left out of the Rodriguez blackout, Susan Chun of CNN on June 15, 2004, sent an email to Rodriguez, requesting an interview after he testified before the 9/11 Commission. After making arrangements for the taped session, Rodriguez said it was unexpectedly cancelled at the last minute without an explanation.
Regarding the cancelled interview, Chun failed to respond to several email requests and several phone messages asking for answers.
However, Francios Tonju of CNN's Latin broadcasting division in Miami, said some of Rodriguez's statements aired in Puerto Rico in Spanish, but added his story never appeared stateside in English.
And in the midst of the blackout continuing to date and remaining frustrated about an untold story, Rodriguez said he remains patient nonetheless and is still available for major network news and television coverage despite the media's unwillingness to listen.
"Throughout the years, I have been wined and dined at the White House and attended many official functions in an attempt to get me on their side so I would shut up. But I have never succumbed to the subtle intimidation over the years, even by reporters who have taken me aside and said it is better that I keep quiet because I didn't realize who I was dealing with.
"After they would take me aside, saying all those nasty things, I would always just look every one of them square in the eye, saying I would never waiver for one second from the truth in respect for my 200 friends who died. I am a man on a mission and I will never stop until the truth is finally uncovered."
Rodriguez, the lead plaintiff in a federal RICO lawsuit filed against Bush and others, is also on his way to Amsterdam, where he is going to publish a book of his heroic 9/11 story, complete with the basement explosion segment as well as other aspects of his story censored by the mainstream media. The book is to be published in English and Dutch and a publication date has yet to be finalized.
After pausing a moment about the difference between foreign and domestic accounts of his story, Rodriguez said even though CNN's Larry King has already been scooped by a number of third world country talk show hosts, he still is available on a moment's notice for a guest appearance, as long as he can tell his story in the unedited version, which would be a first for a major American news network.

A second WTC maintenance worker has now come forward with eye-witness testimony that a massive explosion erupted in the lower levels of the north tower at approximately the same time the jetliner struck the tower’s top floors.
Jose Sanchez, 45, of New Jersey in a never-released tape recorded statement made in early 2002 to William Rodriguez, the first WTC maintenance man to claim a bomb exploded in the north tower basement, said he heard what sounded like a "huge bomb," causing lights to flicker on and off, while he worked in a small sub-level 4 workshop.
Sanchez, who worked for American Building Maintenance Co. at the WTC for 14 years, was unavailable for comment, but made the taped 2002 statement to Rodriguez, recounting his 9/11 personal experience.
Sanchez, who fell on hard times after 9/11, revealed the details of a basement bomb-like explosion while Rodriguez and two CNN interns, Carolina Inojosa and Evita Zerebrinsky, interviewed victims and documented information for the many unfortunate people having trouble getting needed government assistance after 9/11.
Besides questioning the credibility of the official story that burning jet fuel was the only factor in bringing down the towers, Rodriguez formed an assistance organization called the Hispanic Victims Group instrumental in helping hundreds of people get help after 9/11 left many victims unemployed and homeless.
"I knew Jose very well since we worked for the same company," said Rodriguez in a telephone conversation from his New Jersey apartment. "At the time, I taped his statements, I was more concerned about getting people needed assistance and, anyway, back then I really thought the government was seriously investigating the WTC attacks.
"But since then I have learned otherwise. I realize now they are covering-up the real truth and that's why I want to release Jose's statement. What really upsets me and, you can take this message to the White House, is that people like Jose and many others like him who experienced what happened in the basement of the north tower were simply ignored and never interviewed by the 9/11 Commission.
"If they really wanted to get at the truth, these are the very people who should have been interviewed, not public officials who knew very little about what occurred inside the buildings that tragic morning.
"However, instead we all have been ignored in order to cover up the truth. The victims, those who died and the families who lost loved ones deserve nothing less than the truth and I intend to keep talking until the truth is finally told."
Sanchez's explosive comments, shooting another large hole in the government story, now adds even more credibility to Rodriguez's recent statements that he heard a massive explosion in the WTC basement just seconds prior to the jetliner striking above while working in a sub-level 1 office along side 14 others, all who heard and felt the very same thing as Rodriguez.
Since the outset, the government has stood firm that only burning jet fuel brought down the towers, but has ignored mounting eye-witness testimony and scientific data showing that a controlled demolition was an additional cause.
The government also has not fully explained why it immediately tampered with a crime scene, a criminal offense, by having all the hard evidence from the WTC removed and shipped overseas before independent investigators had a chance to study the structural components of the towers in order to help determine the real cause of the tower's collapse.
While arguments continue in the scientific community about the structural cause of the WTC collapse, Sanchez's eye-witness testimony adds more credibility that explosives were placed and detonated in the lower level of the north tower.
In the 2002 taped statement, Sanchez recalls, at the same time Rodriguez and the others heard the explosion, being in a small sub-level 4 workshop with another man who he only knew by the name of Chino when, out of nowhere, the blast sounded as the two men were cutting a piece of metal.
"It sounded like a bomb and the lights went on and off," said Sanchez in the tape recording. "We started to walk to the exit and a huge ball of fire went through the freight elevator. The hot air from the ball of fire dropped Chino to the floor and my hair got burned," said Sanchez in the tape recording. "The room then got full of smoke and I remember saying out loud 'I believe it was a bomb that blew up inside the building.'
"I said 'Chino, let's go we gotta get out of here.' But Chino was wounded and told me he needed help. I remember him saying that the hot air came with such force that it broke his leg. We finally went out through another exit and his leg and knee were both broken."
Sanchez, all the time helping Chino, then recalls exiting into a parking lot on sub-level 4 where he encountered a group of other people also trying to flee. In the parking lot, a person assisted the pair, wrapping Chino's leg with a bandage from a first aid kit.
Chino was then driven in an SUV to safety while Sanchez decided to walk up four flights of stairs through the stairwell, trying to exit at the plaza level but being turned back by debris and falling glass.
"I went back down the stairwell to B-4 and encountered several people coming up. I told them to turn back around and then went across the parking lot up another stairwell, making a left and then finally getting outside," said Sanchez. "It took about 15 or 20 minutes to get outside and for me it was like a bomb with huge smoke all around. Then when I got outside, the other plane hit the south tower. It looked and felt like a war as I hid behind a wall to get out of the way of falling debris."
Saying that he felt disoriented and "didn't know what was happening," Sanchez eventually made his way to safety, arriving at his New Jersey home at about 3:30pm after fleeing down 34th St. and making his way to the ferry boat.
Asked how he felt in the aftermath of the attacks, he said:
"I felt a sense of loss and despair. I worked there 14 years and I worked through the whole complex, installing signs. I worked on all floors and that day I just happened to be in the basement.
"I think I was lucky to get out of the basement because I was near the stairwell."

New York fireman Lou Cacchioli looked the devil square in the eye the morning of 9/11. He stared him down, threw him aside and walked into the depths of hell like a true hero, knowing he may never walk out again.
Like a hero, he risked his life to save others, never once thinking about himself at a time when one wrong a turn, a slight move in the wrong
direction, meant sure death.
Although he survived, a little bit of Lou Cacchioli died that tragic morning in the north tower.
A little bit of the Italian boy, born in northern Italy who came to New York at the age of 10, was left behind in the rubble along with thousands of unlucky souls who didn't make it out of hell that morning.
And if you look closely, a little bit of the Italian boy can still be seen hovering high above where the WTC once stood, flying high with the hearts and souls of his firefighter friends who perished that morning.
Look even closer through the clouds and you can probably still see a silhouette of Cacchioli and his best friend, Tommy Hedsall, both proudly wearing their FDNY uniforms and still rescuing people in the north tower's 24th floor, the last place Cacchioli ever saw his friend alive.
Four years later, Cacchioli hasn't talked much about the nightmare he lived on 9/11. First, he really didn't want to talk about. Next, he got tired of having his words twisted by the 9/11 Commission and finally, the New York media basically never sought him out to get the true account of what he saw and heard in the north tower right before the building collapsed.
Originally, on September 12, 2001, People Magazine ran a few short paragraphs about the 20-year veteran New York fireman hearing what sounded like bombs exploding in the north tower.
Short and sweet, that was it. A few short words about bombs exploding, but words that were repeated over and over again in story after story by writers and broadcasters who never even bothered to talk to him in the first place.
After that, a little angry and a little disgusted, he pretty much disappeared into the New York landscape, his story only appearing in an obscure book released called "American Spirit," and his 2004 testimony given in private to the 9/11 Commission never released to the public in the commission’s final report.
So, it's safe to say Cacchioli's story, the story of an American hero, is probably unknown to most Americans even though 9/11 will be forever etched in everyone's hearts and souls for all time.
In a humble effort to set the 9/11 Commission's record straight and put the correct version of hero Lou Cacchioli's story back in the history books, here is the unedited version, better late then never, as told by the man in an extended telephone conversation this week from his New York home:
THEN AND NOW
Losing his buddies, his job and his health, there was time after 9/11 he seriously considered suicide. But after counseling, a bit of soul searching and a loving family, the man who went through the depths of hell is now a happy grandfather.
Although he's finally able to cope with the horror and grief of 9/11 after four long years, the tough-talking Italian with a heart of gold, admitted:
"I still have my moments, I still break down sometimes and I still go to counseling. But I feel a lot better, a whole lot better. I have a wonderful wife of 30 years, three great children and now a little granddaughter. What more could a man want?"
And the man who almost lost it all after saving so many lives is back living safely on the "happy side of heaven," keeping close touch with the fire department he loves and vowing to never leave the streets of New York, the only life he really knows.
And like a true Italian, headstrong, independent and not afraid to speak his mind, he said:
"Nothing's going to push Lou Cacchioli out of this town, nothing!"
THE MORNING OF 9/11
Cacchioli was one of those tough New York firefighters, the kind of guy you'd like to have a coffee or beer with or the kind of guy who could talk your arm off about Yankee baseball.
For most of his career, "Tough Lou" was a Company 47 engine man in the equally as tough Harlem District. He was the type of fireman who you picture sitting around the firehouse dinner table, shooting the breeze and talking war stories about the last big blaze up on 42nd Street.
He was the type of fearless New York fireman who, up until 9/11, thought he saw it all, including the WTC bombing in 1993.
But that was before 9/11. That was before Cacchioli was thrown into depths of hell when the Company 47 bell sounded, telling the fire crew to head to the south tower of the WTC.
And like the sound of the bell marking the 15th round at Madison Square Garden, it was the last bell Cacchioli ever heard, as he never worked another day for the FDNY after 9/11.
Although it was like someone ripped his heart out on January 4, 2002, when doctors told him due a pulmonary condition from the 9/11 contaminants he'd never work as a fireman again, Cacchioli somehow still finds the strength to recall what he calls the most horrifying day a man could ever imagine.
But back on 9/11, Cacchioli was in true form, headstrong and ready to take on the blaze like he'd done so many times before. Although he readily admits "none of the finest fireman in the world were prepared for 9/11," he said never once did he think the buildings would topple, but at the same time, never did he think the fire could ever be contained.
CACCHIOLI AND ENGINE CO. 47 ARRIVE ON THE SCENE
When Co. 47 arrived with Cacchioli leading the way as the senior member of the crew, the second plane had already hit the south tower and they were told to head directly to the Marriot Hotel across from the WTC, since a fire was blazing form debris falling from the towers. Cacchioli recalls hearing radio reports of "people jumping" and when he got closer to the Marriot, the reports turned into reality.
"I looked up and there were about 6 to 10 people flying through the air coming down right on us," said Cacchioli. "It was horrible when they hit the ground, something you had to turn your eyes away from. One of the jumpers landed directly on fireman Danny Sur, killing him on the spot. I remember saying, 'Oh my God, what are we getting into?'"
Cacchioli then recalls entering the Marriot, trying to lead "the kids" as he called them, adding that words could not describe the screaming and chaos within.
"There was debris flying everywhere and it was just mass chaos," said Cacchioli. "At that point, orders were changing fast and furious and our company was directed to lend assistance in the north tower."
CACCHIOLI AND CREW ENTER NORTH TOWER AND GO UP TO 24TH FLOOR
Although the Marriot was a bad scene, the north tower looked like a war zone. When he entered the lobby, Cacchioli recalls elevator doors completely blown out and another scene of mass chaos with people running, screaming and being hit with debris.
"I remember thinking to myself, my God, how could this be happening so quickly if a plane hit way above. It didn’t make sense," said Cacchioli.
At that point, Cacchioli found one of the only functioning elevators, one only going as high as the 24th floor, a twist of fate that probably saved his life.
"Looking back if it was one of the elevators that went higher, I wouldn't be here talking today," added Cacchioli.
As he made his way up along with men from Engine Co. 21, 22 and Ladder Co. 13, the doors opened on the 24th floor, a scene again that hardly made sense to the seasoned fireman, claiming the heavy dust and haze of smoke he encountered was unusual considering the location of the strike.
"Tommy Hedsal was with me and everybody else also gets out of the elevator when it stops on the 24th floor," said Cacchioli, "There was a huge amount of smoke. Tommy and I had to go back down the elevator for tools and no sooner did the elevators close behind us, we heard this huge explosion that sounded like a bomb. It was such a loud noise, it knocked off the lights and stalled the elevator.
"Luckily, we weren't caught between floors and were able to pry open the doors. People were going crazy, yelling and screaming. And all the time, I am crawling low and making my way in the dark with a flashlight to the staircase and thinking Tommy is right behind me.
"I somehow got into the stairwell and there were more people there. When I began to try and direct down, another huge explosion like the first one hits. This one hits about two minutes later, although it's hard to tell, but I'm thinking, 'Oh. My God, these bastards put bombs in here like they did in 1993!'
"But still it never crossed my mind the building was going to collapse. I really only had two things on my mind and that was getting people out and saving lives. That's what I was trained for and that’s what I was going to do.
"I remember at that point in the stairwell between the 23rd and 24th floor, I threw myself down on the steps because of the smoke. It was pitch black, I had my mask on and I was crawling down the steps until I found the door on the 23rd floor."
When Cacchioli entered the 23rd floor, he found a "little man" holding a handkerchief in front of his face and hiding under the standpipes on the wall, used for pumping water on the floor in case of fire.
Leading the man by the arm, he then ran into a group down the hall of about 35 to 40 people, finding his way down the 23rd floor stairwell and beginning their descent to safety.
"Then as soon as we get in the stairwell, I hear another huge explosion like the other two. Then I heard bang, bang, bang - huge bangs – and surmised later it was the floors pan caking on top of one another.
"I knew we had to get out of there fast and on the 12th floor a man even jumped on my back because he thought he couldn't make it any farther. Everybody was shocked and dazed and it was a miracle all of us got this far."
When the group led by Cacchioli finally made it to the lobby level, he was unable to open the door at first, the concussion of the explosions or perhaps the south tower falling, jamming the lobby door.
Finally jarring it loose, the group entered the lobby finding total devastation with windows blown out and marble falling form the walls, but strangely no people. At that point, it was either left or right to an exit, Cacchioli, the man he originally found by the standpipes and another lady going right while the others went left, a move which by the grace of God saved his life.
"It seemed like every move I made that morning was the right move," said Cacchioli.
"I should have been killed at least five times. The people that went left didn’t make it out, but we came out alive on West Street."
OUTSIDE AND APPARENTLY OUT OF HARMS WAY
After making sure the two civilians were attended to, Cacchioli went to his fire truck finding Lance, the driver, who was attending to the truck and waiting for the crew to return.
Looking up at the north tower directly above, Cacchioli recalls not having the slightest idea when he exited that the south tower had already collapsed. He also remembers wondering about the fate of his crew members, the driver telling him two were missing and two others injured and already taken to the hospital.
"Next thing, we look up and see the tower collapsing. We saw it starting to come down fast, Lance running towards the water to safety and I headed down West Side Highway."
Cacchioli said he remembers looking back at the north tower antenna falling, at the same time trying to stay ahead of the huge ball of black smoke gaining ground. He then threw off his mask to make himself lighter, a move that allowed him to run faster and perhaps save his life, while eventually having to throw himself on the ground from the heavy sawdust-like air mixed with glass that was choking him to death and taking away his vision.
Landing in debris, he luckily fell by the wheels of another fire truck, another twist of fate that may have saved his life, where he then managed to find a compressed air breathing mask. He then passed out and recalls waking up some time later after another fireman pulled him to safety.
"I don't really know how much time passed, but once I felt better, I quickly went back to look for my friends and stayed till I couldn’t walk anymore," said Cacchioli, who began crying when he talked about his close friend. "They finally found Tommy's body in the debris about 10 days later. I went back to Ground Zero every day for a long time, going AWOL, until I finally went to a doctor and was put on medical leave.
"They were very good about it. Everybody understood. It got to the point I couldn't breathe anymore and I lost a lot of vision due to the broken glass getting into my eyes. Finally, the doctors told me in January 2002, I couldn't work and I remember feeling devastated like my whole world was coming to an end.
"I couldn't tell this story for the longest time and I have to admit it is still difficult."
THE 2004 9/11 COMMISSION HEARINGS: WHAT A WAY TO TREAT A HERO!
Cacchioli was called to testify privately, but walked out on several members of the committee before they finished, feeling like he was being interrogated and cross-examined rather than simply allowed to tell the truth about what occurred in the north tower on 9/11.
"My story was never mentioned in the final report and I felt like I was being put on trial in a court room," said Cacchioli. "I finally walked out. They were trying to twist my words and make the story fit only what they wanted to hear. All I wanted to do was tell the truth and when they wouldn't let me do that, I walked out.
"It was a disgrace to everyone, the victims and the family members who lost loved ones. I don't agree with the 9/11 Commission. The whole experience was terrible."
HIS LIFE NOW
Cacchioli spends a majority of his spare time hanging around the firehouse, trying to stay in touch with the department he loves and trying to lend a hand to some of the younger kids in the department.
"I talk to the kids and I want to make sure they are keeping up to snuff so they're ready if something happens," said Cacchioli, who also plays softball in the FDNY league, something he regularly did when he was on active duty. "I don't want to lose this connection because the fire department is a part of who I am and who I always will be."
Asked if he ever was pressured to keep quiet about his 9/11 experience, he added:
"Nobody has bothered me. I don't think I should be bothered. I know what happened that day and I know the whole truth hasn't come out yet. I have my own conscience, my own mind and no one, I mean no one, is going to force Lou Cacchioli to say something that didn't happen and wasn't the truth."

New Yorker Paul Isaac was a block away when the Twin Towers collapsed, watching helplessly as many of his friends perished. Today the former auxiliary fireman and communication specialist is 'a man on a mission' who says after years of researching 9/11, he is positive a massive cover-up exists to protect an inside government job.
Paul Isaac doesn’t know the meaning of the word quit. From day one, the former auxiliary New York fireman and now self-proclaimed "auxiliary pain in the rear end," knew the Twin Towers was a controlled demolition.
And since day one, he has never quit trying to prove it.
Stack up all the major newspapers on a desk, city by city, across the entire country and there wouldn't be enough information about "what really happened on 9/11" to fill up a thimble.
But take all the information stacked up in Isaac's apartment and there would be enough to fill up a New York City library or enough to make the New York Times investigative reporters look Mutt and Jeff chasing after their tales.
When Isaac first watched the towers collapse from a block away, he said they "strangely came down like a house of cards, in their own footprints" and in what he called "a perfect demolition job."
Although Isaac isn't a scientist, engineer or explosives expert, it doesn't really matter. What matters is that someone invest the time and energy to investigate 9/11 in the wake of hasty conclusions arrived at by both government and the media.
It's really all the American people have left. All that's left are the efforts of people like Isaac who are not taking no for answer when it comes to further investigating the many unanswered questions about 9/11.
Some may wonder why Isaac's story is important? Why is a story about a man who is neither an eye-witness or an expert important? Other may say why does a humble auxiliary fireman's research merit coverage? Others may even selfishly say "if him, why not me?"
And the answer to all these questions is that Isaac's isn't just the "average Joe" on the street corner shooting off his mouth. He isn't just somebody with a hunch, trying to make a name for himself.
Instead, Isaac is a diligent researcher, a man on a personal mission who has dedicated almost every waking hour of his life to get justice for the hundreds of friends, both fireman and civilians, who perished in the towering 9/11 inferno.
The truth is Isaac has a giant hole left in his heart after 9/11, a hole he is trying to fill with information leading to the truth leading to the real culprits responsible for the mass murder of over 3,000 Americans.
In fact, if there were a 10 million other Isaac's in America, maybe the government literally wouldn't have been able to get away with murder and maybe the truth about 9/11 would be learned.
"If the 9/11 Commission and the media aren't going after the truth, then I am," said Isaac this week in a telephone conversation from his New York apartment.
"There are a couple of interesting facts, along with numerous other inconsistencies, which have led me to seriously question how the government claims the tower's fell by jet fuel alone.
"First, many people may not recall that on February 15, 1975, there was a blaze at the World trade Center that took out six floors. In fact, the fire was much hotter than the one on 9/11 but it still didn't take down the entire building."
And like a true investigator who likes to answer critics with questions, Isaac added:
"Why did the same demolition company, Controlled Demolition Inc., the company that helped clean up at Oklahoma City and the WTC, also on July 15, 2001, bring down and demolish two 400 foot tanks not far from the twin towers? Was it a dry run?"
Trying to put the 9/11 puzzle together on a daily basis, Isaac also has spent countless hours trying to track down data and original building schematics in an effort to show, once and for all, the WTC was built to withstand much more impact than a jetliner crash at the top floors.
He said to his astonishment a complete set of structural floor plans was never released by the government supporting its conclusions. Instead, what he found were conclusions based without "the slightest bit of documented evidence."
"So I went on a personal search all over the city, a search to every government and private office imaginable to get accurate data about the WTC building plans," said Isaac. "Finally, in the old archives of the New York Fire Department, I hit the jack pot and now I think hold the trump card.
"I want to bring these documents to the public and I want to bring the culprits who caused this mass murder to justice. These blueprints have never been made public and it shows without question that the WTC is a whole lot stronger than the government would like us to believe. These blueprints show a very strong truss system and not a cardboard box like the government claims.”
The data, floor plans and schematics found by Isaac not only reveal the WTC structural design but give an inside look at every nook and cranny of the building, including designs of the 99 elevators in the two buildings as well as giving an impression of the building's strengths and weaknesses from a fire department's point of view.
Besides being a man on a 9/11 information quest, finding out the truth has become personal mission, not only because Isaac lost many friends, but since he considered the Twin Towers his home away from home when he worked for Engine Company 10 located right across the street from the WTC.
When he worked as an auxiliary fireman specializing in emergency and disaster communications response, Isaac said after 9/11 he began monitoring all emergency units to see if any patterns or information about the perpetrators could be learned.
"I heard some crazy things over my radio in those days, things I can't repeat on the phone," said Isaac.
Isaac said over the last four years he's compiled information and names of civilians and firefighters, whose identities he keeps anonymous for their safety, who all claim to have either witnessed explosions in the towers or have information that a controlled demolition took place.
"It's just amazing how many people are afraid to talk for fear of retaliation or losing their jobs," said Isaac, regarding the FBI gag order placed on law enforcement and fire department officials, preventing them from openly talking about any inside knowledge of 9/11.
Although Isaac wasn't an eye-witness inside the towers n 9/11, he was about as close as anybody could get without actually being inside the building.
"When the first plane hit the tower, I was on my way to work on a train below the WTC," said Isaac. "The train made a quick stop and I saw all the people screaming and running. It then sped off, missing stops along the way until we got a couple of miles away. I knew something was terribly wrong so I ran back and was stopped by the police barricades about a block away.
"As I looked up, I saw the first tower come down. I couldn't believe it. From that moment on, I kept saying this is a war but against who is the real question. The Bush administration needed something to set in motion there global agenda for conquest and power sand 9/11 was it."
Two books recommended by Isaac for anyone wanting to get up to speed on the neo con movement and its imperialistic strategies are "Behold The Pale Horse," a 1988 release by William Cooper and "Divided We Stand" by Eric Darton.
Regarding the Bush administration, Isaac said: "It's really worse than a dictatorship!"
And like a true researcher with an eye for detail, he added: "Why don't you give Karl Rove a call and ask him what he thinks? His number is 202-456-5578. I'm sure he won't mind if you give him a call!"
Editor's Note: A story like Paul Isaac's is especially inspirational at a time when the government and media are leading Americans down a one way street to hell with no way back.
All signals point to another government orchestrated terrorist attack on American soil, this one larger and more deadly than 9/11. What happened to William Rodriguez the morning of 9/11 is a miracle.
What happened to his story after-the-fact is a tragedy.
But with miracles and tragedies comes truth. And truth is exactly what Rodriguez brings to the whole mystery surrounding 9/11.
Declared a hero for saving numerous lives at Ground Zero, he was the janitor on duty the morning of 9/11 who heard and felt explosions rock the basement sub-levels of the north tower just seconds before the jetliner struck the top floors.
He not only claims he felt explosions coming from below the first sub-level while working in the basement, he says the walls were cracking around him and he pulled a man to safety by the name of Felipe David, who was severely burned from the basement explosions.
All these events occurred only seconds before and during the jetliner strike above. And through it all, he now asks a simple question everybody should be asking? How could a jetliner hit 90 floors above and burn a man’s arms and face to a crisp in the basement below within seconds of impact?
Rodriguez claims this was impossible and clearly demonstrates a controlled demolition brought down the WTC, saying "Let’s see them (the government) try to wiggle out of this one."
Well, they haven’t wiggled out of it because the government continues to act like Rodriguez doesn’t exist, basically ignoring his statements and the fact he rescued a man burnt and bleeding from the basement explosions.
His eye witness account, ignored by the media and the government, points the finger squarely on an official cover-up at the highest levels since the government contends the WTC fell only from burning jet fuel. And after listening to Rodriguez, it’s easy to see why the Bush administration wants him kept quiet.
Bush wants him quiet because Rodriguez’s account is ‘proof positive’ the WTC was brought down by a controlled demolition, not burning jet fuel. And Bush knows if he’s caught lying about this or caught in a cover-up, it’s just a matter of time before the whole house of cards comes tumbling down.
In fact, Rodriguez’s story is so damaging – so damning – it literally blows the lid off the government story, literally exposing the whole 9/11 investigation as a sham and a cover-up of the worst kind.
And it appears the cover-up also extends to the media.
NBC news knew about his story several years ago, even spending a full day at his house taping his comments. But when push came to shove, his story was never aired. Why?
His eyewitness account, backed up by at least 14 people at the scene with him, isn’t speculation or conjecture. It isn’t a story that takes a network out on a journalistic limb. It’s a story that can be backed up, a story that can be verified with hospital records and testimony from many others.
It’s a story about 14 people who felt and heard the same explosion and even saw Rodriguez, moments after the airplane hit, take David to safety, after he was burnt so bad from the basement explosion flesh was hanging from his face and both arms
So why didn’t NBC or any other major news outlets cover the story? They didn’t run it because it shot the government story to hell and back. They didn’t run it because "the powers at be" wouldn’t allow it.
Since 9/11, Rodriguez has stuck to his guns, never wavering from what he said from day one. Left homeless at times, warned to keep quiet and subtly harassed, he nevertheless has continued trying to tell get his message out in the face of a country not willing to listen.
Here is his story:
The Miracle
It’s a miracle Rodriguez, 44, who worked at the WTC for 20 years, is even alive. Usually arriving to work at 8:30am, the morning of 9/11 he reported 30 minutes late. If he’d arrived on time, it would have put him at the top floors just about the same time the jetliner hit the north tower.
"It was a miracle. If I arrived on time, like always, I’d probably be dead. I would have been up at the top floors like every morning," said Rodriguez about the quirk of fate that saved his life.
But since he was late, Rodriguez found himself checking into work in an office on sub-level 1 when the north tower was hit, seemingly out of harms way. However, the sound and concussion of a massive explosion in the sub-levels right below his feet changed that.
"When I heard the sound of the explosion, the floor beneath my feet vibrated, the walls started cracking and it everything started shaking," said Rodriguez, who was huddled together with at least 14 other people in the office.
Rodriguez said Anthony Saltamachia, supervisor for the American Maintenance Co., was one of the people in the room who stands ready to verify his story.
"Seconds after the first massive explosion below in the basement still rattled the floor, I hear another explosion from way above," said Rodriguez. "Although I was unaware at the time, this was the airplane hitting the tower, it occurred moments after the first explosion."
But before Rodriguez had time to think, co-worker Felipe David stormed into the basement office with severe burns on his face and arms, screaming for help and yelling "explosion! explosion! explosion!"
David had been in front of a nearby freight elevator on sub-level 1 about 400 feet from the office when fire burst out of the elevator shaft, causing his injuries.
"He was burned terribly," said Rodriguez. "The skin was hanging off his hands and arms. His injuries couldn’t have come from the airplane above, but only from a massive explosion below. I don’t care what the government says, what scientists say. I saw a man burned terribly from a fire that was caused from an explosion below.
"I know there were explosives placed below the trade center. I helped a man to safety who is living proof, living proof the government story is a lie and a cover-up.
"I have tried to tell my story to everybody, but nobody wants to listen. It is very strange what is going on here in supposedly the most democratic country in the world. In my home country of Puerto Rico and all the other Latin American countries, I have been allowed to tell my story uncensored. But here, I can’t even say a word."
After Rodriguez escorted David to safety outside the WTC, he returned to lead the others in the basement to safety as well. While there, he also helped two other men trapped and drowning in the basement elevator shaft, another result he says of the explosives placed below the tower.
In fact, after leading these men to safety, he even made another trip back into the north tower, against police orders, in order to rescue people from the top floors.
"I never could make it to the top, but I got up to the 33rd floor after getting some of my equipment and a face mask out of the janitor’s closet," said Rodriguez, adding he heard a series of small explosions going off between the 20th and 30th floors, unrelated to the airplane strike, while making his way through the stairwell to the top floors.
"Also, when I was on the 33rd floor, I heard strange sounds coming form the 34th floor, loud noises like someone moving and thumping heavy equipment and furniture. I knew this floor was empty and stripped due to construction work so I avoided it and continued to make my way up the stairs."
Rodriguez said he finally reached the 39th floor before being turned back by fire fighters and then, reluctantly, started his dissent back down and his own flight to safety while, at the same time, hearing explosions coming from the South Tower.
The Tragedy
The concerted effort by the media and the government to silence Rodriguez is the tragedy behind this American hero’s story. And there is no question, Rodriguez is a "silent hero" for saving so many lives and for having the courage to continue telling his story against tremendous odds.
In an effort to open a fair and honest investigation as to why the WTC collapsed, Rodriguez has been ignored by government officials, the 9/11 Commission and the National Institute of Safety and Technology (NIST).
NIST, an independent investigative group funded by the government, put the finishing touches this week on its 2 year $35 million 9/11 investigation. This week Rodriguez made his final plea to have his story heard while testifying at the final public hearing held in New York.
" I disagree 100%with the government story," said Rodriguez. "I met with the 9/11 Commission behind closed doors and they essentially discounted everything I said regarding the use of explosives to bring down the north tower.
"And I contacted NIST previously four times without a response. Finally, this week I asked them before they came up with their conclusion that jet fuel brought down the towers, if they ever considered my statements or the statements of any of the other survivors who heard the explosions. They just stared at me with blank faces and didn’t have any answers.
"Also, The FBI never followed up on my claims or on the other part of my story when I told them before 9/11, I encountered one of the hijackers casing the north tower."
Besides the explosions, Rodriguez also has provided testimony to the 9/11 Commission that he stumbled across one of the supposed 19 Arab hijackers inside the WTC several months before 9/11
"I had just finished cleaning the bathroom and this guy asks me, 'Excuse me, how many public bathrooms are in this area?'" Rodriguez told the 9/11 Commission. "Coming from the school of the 1993 [Trade Center] bombing, I found it very strange. I didn't forget about it"
Rodriguez, claims he saw United Airlines Flight 175 hijacker Mohand Alshehri in June 2001, telling an FBI agent about the incident a month after the attacks. Never hearing back from the bureau, he later learned agents never followed up on the story.
"I'm very certain, I'll give it 90%" that Alshehri was casing the towers before the attacks," said Rodriguez.
Regarding the media’s apathetic approach to his story, Rodriguez said immediately after 9/11 some newspapers picked it up but his words were never taken seriously and quickly forgotten.
"During the 9/11 hearings, NBC brought a crew out to my house and spent a day taping my story but they never did air a word of it," said Rodriguez. "Since then, some reporters and commentators have subtly warned me to keep quiet, told me my life could be in jeopardy and warned me that I really didn’t understand who I was dealing with.
"I have been receiving this type of subtle harassment for years, but I keep telling everybody I can’t be intimidated because I am on a mission. Whenever someone asks why I keep talking or warns me that I could be killed, I just tell them I have nothing to lose.
"I tell them I lost 200 friends and I am their voice now. I tell them I will do everything in my power to find out the truth since I am living on borrowed time since I probably should be dead anyway."
Besides trying to tell his explosive story, Rodriguez has been active raising money for 9/11victims, being involved with charity groups that have raised more than $122 million. He says he has used over $60,000 of his own money, originally earmarked to buy a new house, in order to get at the truth behind 9/11.
Also seeking justice at the highest level, Rodriguez is the lead plaintiff in a federal RICO lawsuit filed against President Bush and others, alleging conspiracy to commit murder and other crimes in the deaths of more than 3,000 at the WTC.
The case, filed last November in a Philadelphia federal district court, recently was moved to New York in a change of venue after a government’s motion to dismiss was overruled, allowing legal discovery to continue.
"Even if the case goes no farther, I feel we have scored a victory by winning this first battle," said Rodriguez. "At least the judge seems willing to listen which is a victory of sorts. However, I sincerely hope we can eventually take the case all the way to trial and reveal the truth to the American people about 9/11."

A radiation expert and high-ranking Army Major, who once headed the military’s depleted uranium project, both contend the Pentagon was hit by missile, not a commercial jetliner, adding high radiation readings after the strike indicate depleted uranium also may have been used.
“I’m not an explosives or crash site expert, but I am highly knowledgeable in causes and effects related to nuclear radiation contamination. What happened at the Pentagon is highly suspicious, leading me to believe a missile with a depleted uranium warhead may have been used,” said radiation expert Leuren Moret in a telephone conversation this week from her Berkeley, CA home.
Moret, who has spent a life time working in the nuclear field, first as a staff scientist at the Livermore Nuclear Weapons Laboratory in California, is now a member of The Radiation and Public Health Project (RPHP), a privately funded group studying the devastating effects of depleted uranium especially in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Regarding the missile theory, it is also backed up by retired Army Maj. Doug Rokke, a PhD educational physics and former top military expert banished from the Pentagon after the military failed to follow regulations regarding the use, clean up and medical treatment regarding the use of depleted uranium.
“When you look at the whole thing, especially the crash site void of airplane parts, the size of the hole left in the building and the fact the projectile’s impact penetrated numerous concrete walls, it looks like the work of a missile,” said Maj. Rokke from his Rantoul, IL home this week. “And when you look at the damage, it was obviously a missile. Also, if you look at the WTC and the disturbing flash hitting the tower right before the impact of the airplane, it also looks like a missile was used.”
And to prove the government’s jetliner theory is wrong, Moret said the quick actions of a friend near the Pentagon on the morning of 9/11, provide even more suspicion.
Moret recalls on the tragic morning that once she saw the jetliner strike the twin towers and then heard about the Pentagon crash, she immediately called a close friend in Alexandria VA, Dr. Janette Sherman.
Thinking radiation might be involved, she quickly asked Dr. Sherman, 77, a radiation expert and medical doctor who lived about 12 miles from the crash site, to get a Geiger counter reading.
What the pair of experts found is astonishing. What they found is not only astonishing but four years after 9/11, what’s even more incredible is that their findings have been completely ignored by most everyone, including the Bush administration, the 9/11 Commission and the mainstream media, all who appear more interested in rubber stamping the official 9/11 story then getting at the real truth.
“Dr. Sherman was downwind from the Pentagon on 9/11 and her Geiger counter readings show an extremely high reading, a reading of more than eight to ten times higher than normal,” said Moret, also an expert in the cause and effects of depleted uranium.
“Dr. Sherman, who is well-respected radiation expert herself, then went about contacting the proper authorities in order to try and alert emergency responders of the radiation risk at the Pentagon crash site. And we have also kept photos of the Geiger counter readings in order to verify what Dr. Sherman found 12 miles away.”
After notifying the Nuclear Industrial Safety Agency (NIRS), experts from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the FBI were alerted and according to Moret, radiation experts later confirmed high radiation levels at the Pentagon crash site possibly from the presence from depleted uranium or other unknown causes.
But what disturbed Moret most has been the Bush administration’s lack of concern and its failure to mount a thorough investigation into what really caused the high radiation levels, saying perhaps the findings might reveal something contrary to the official story that a jetliner rammed through 12 Pentagon walls of solid concrete.
“Even if there was depleted uranium used, do you think the likes of Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld would really care? These are bottom feeders that 20 or 30 years ago wouldn’t have been even allowed to set foot in such high positions of power,” said Moret.
Although Dr. Sherman’s Geiger counter can’t be a conclusive finding, another nuclear radiation expert, Marion Fulk, agrees the positive reading, if anything, is suspicious.
“It definitely looks suspicious but of course many factors have to be considered before a conclusion is reached,” said Fulk in a telephone conversation this week. “The type of Geiger counter used by Dr. Sherman needs to be looked at as well as the possibility of the true source of the radiation, whether it is depleted uranium in a missile, ballast in the airplane or within the structure of the building hit.”
Even though no one can be sure, one thing positive is the Bush administration never really seriously cared about addressing the possibility of depleted uranium at the Pentagon just like it cares little about the same problem at the World Trade Center and in the war fields of Iraq and Afghanistan.
And, more recently, Moret, Fulk and Maj. Rokke, along with Dennis Kyne, Bob Jones and Mark Zeller, have provided documentation for an explosive video written and produced by Joyce Riley and William Lewis called“Beyond Treason,” providing an in depth look at depleted uranium used in the Gulf Wars and its likelihood of causing numerous civilian and military illnesses.
“It has been determined that the equivalent of more than 400,000 Nagasaki bombs has been released in the middle east since 1991,” said Moret, citing a report and subsequent speech at a 2000 depleted uranium conference given by Professor Yagasaki, a physicist and well-respected nuclear radiation expert.
And in the 89 minute video, exploring a massive government cover up, Riley and Lewis point out the unexplained illnesses in civilians and military personal may be the cause of depleted uranium or perhaps a combination of overlapping causes, including chemical and biological exposure and the use of experimental vaccines.
The writers of Beyond Treason, added:
“The ailing Gulf War heroes from all 27 coalition countries slowly die from of “unknown causes,” they wait for answers from their respective governments, but no satisfying or even credible answers have come forth from the military establishment. Records that span over a decade point to negligence and even culpability on the part of the U.S. Department of Defense and their ‘disposable army” mentality.
“The VA has determined that 250,000 troops are now permanently disabled, 15,000 troops are dead and over 425,000 are ill and slowly dying from what the Department of Defense still calls a mystery disease. How many more will have to die before action is taken?”
And in February, 2004, a conference called “Dialogues with Decision Makers” was held in New Delhi, India, where a group of experts gathered for the prevention of nuclear war and looked closely at the depleted uranium problem in the Middle East.
Admiral Vishnu Bhagwat, former chief of the Naval Staff in India, reported the following shocking details about the effects of depleted uranium:
“In the 2003 war, the Iraqi’s were subjected to the Pentagon’s radioactive arsenal, mainly in the urban centers, unlike in the deserts in 1991. The aggregate effects of illnesses and long term disabilities and genetic birth defects will be apparent only 2008 onwards. “By now, half of all the 697,000 US soldiers involved in the 1991 war have reported serious illnesses. According the American Gulf War Veterans Association, more than 30% of these soldiers are chronically ill, and receiving disability benefits from the Veterans Administration.
“Near the Republican Palace where US troops stood guard and over 1000 employees walked in and out, the radiation readings were the hottest in Iraq, at nearly 1900 times background radiation levels.
“At a roadside stand, selling fresh bunches of parsley, mint, and onions, children played on a burnt out Iraqi tank just outside Baghdad, the Geiger counter registered 1000 times normal background radiation.
“The Pentagon and the United Nations estimate that the US and Britain used 1,100 to 2,200 tons of armor piercing shells made of DU during attacks in March-April 2003, far more than the 1991 Gulf War (this does not include air dispensed DU munitions and missiles),” wrote the Post Intelligencer.
“The long term effects, as Dr Asaf Durakovic elaborates, after the early neurological symptoms are cancer, and related radiation illnesses such as chronic fatigue syndrome, joint and muscle pain, neurological and/or nerve damage, mood disturbances, auto-immune deficiencies, lung and kidney damage, vision problems, skin rupture, increase in miscarriages, maternal mortality and genetic birth defects/deformation.
“For years the US government described the Gulf War Syndrome as a post traumatic stress disorder. It was labeled as a psychological problem or simply as mysterious unrelated ailments much in the same way as health problems of Vietnam veterans suffering from Agent Orange poisoning.”

Professor Steven E. Jones only was in the public eye for five days before BYU told him to stop giving interviews. Now the university has issued a public statement distancing itself from Jones and even discrediting his work. Critics suggest Bush administration had its dirty hand in forcing BYU to 'shut up' its professor.
Brigham Young University (BYU) issued a public statement this week, discrediting and distancing itself from physics Professor Steven E. Jones for publicly claiming the WTC was brought down by explosives not jet fuel like the government contends.
Jones, a tenured BYU professor, went public two weeks ago after releasing a 19 page academic paper, essentially showing how the laws of physics do not support the WTC’s freefall and, consequently, the official government story.
While expressing doubt about the government’s version of 9/11, he called for an independent investigation concerning the strange collapse of the towers and Building No. 7, something the 9/11 Commission failed to do and something the Bush administration adamantly opposes.
However, Jones’ notoriety turned out to be short lived as only days after giving numerous press interviews, including a six-minute spot on MSNBC, BYU officials twisted his arm and convinced him to stop appearing publicly.
Critics quickly pointed out that Jones must have been ‘silenced quickly’ after the Bush administration pressured BYU to end any further embarrassment while, at the same time, reminding officials about the numerous government grants swinging in the balance.
But before the situation turned ugly, Jones himself tried to immediately end the controversy, claiming all parties reached an amicable agreement without anybody strong arming anybody.
“I want to thank everyone for the attention, but it is best that I limit my appearances at this time,” said Jones in a telephone conversation from his BYU office only five days after first appearing publicly about his controversial 9/1 statements. “University officials and I have come to an understanding that in the best interest for all parties involved, it is better that I limit my speaking on 9/11 to academic peer reviews.”
Even tough all parties appeared to be on the same “closed mouth” page, BYU this week BYU came out with an official statement, distancing itself from its professor and even finding a way to politely criticize him for the methods he used in researching his 9/11 paper, adding his techniques may have not been up to high standards usually attached to other BYU academic work.
The paper now openly questioned by BYU officials is entitled “Why Indeed did the WTC Buildings Collapse” and has been accepted for academic publication included in the book “The Hidden History of 9-11-2001, Research in Political Economy, Volume 23.”
Finding a way to discredit Jones in a subtle way, BYU issued the following public statement about Jones’ controversial 9/11 views:
“Brigham Young University has a policy of academic freedom that supports the pursuit and dissemination of knowledge and ideas. Through the academic process, ideas should be advanced, challenged, and debated by peer-review in credible venues. We believe in the integrity of the academic review process and that, when it is followed properly, peer-review is valuable for evaluating the validity of ideas and conclusions.
“The university is aware that Professor Steven Jones' hypotheses and interpretations of evidence regarding the collapse of World Trade Center buildings are being questioned by a number of scholars and practitioners, including many of BYU's own faculty members. Professor Jones' department and college administrators are not convinced that his analyses and hypotheses have been submitted to relevant scientific venues that would ensure rigorous technical peer review.”
Jones was unavailable for comment as he is no longer talking openly with the media, but when he did talk it created a stir which even was addressed on MSNBC by conservative talk show host, Tucker Carlson.
Jones made a brief six minute appearance, saying publicly afterwards he was unhappy by the “one-sided presentation” siding with the government as well as Carlson’s failure to show the video clip of Building No. 7 freefalling to the ground as requested by Jones during the show.
“I asked three times to play the clip of Building No. 7 falling but they wouldn’t do it,” said Jones after the appearance with Carlson, a well-known Bush administration mouthpiece who slanted Jones’ story in favor of the government, as expected.
Not only did Carlson refuse to address key visual evidence clearly showing a freefall of the WTC, he also issued a statement telling Jones and others who think the government may have been complicit in 9/11 to leave the country, an analysis completely lacking sensibility and bordering on outright insanity.
Responding to a caller about pre-positioned explosives detonated in all three buildings at Ground Zero, Carlson said:
“If you really believe the U.S. government killed 3000 of its own citizens for no reason and lied about it and invaded Afghanistan as a result of something it did, you ought to leave the country… because that’s so terrible… so evil, that your tax dollars go in to support it make you complicit in it… if you really believe that, you ought to leave…”
Besides the MSNBC appearance, Jones previously granted one of his first interviews to the Arctic Beacon and American Free Press, also making one of his only radio appearances before going silent on Greg Szymanski’s radio show, “The Investigative Journal,” on the Republic Broadcasting Network. Before ending his media appearances, Jones tried to explain why he wrote his paper:
“I wanted to limit my discussion to my expertise and that is why I talked mainly about the physics of the freefall of the towers and Building 7,” said Jones, adding he did criticize the so-called “pod theory” or the theory that a “drone plane” was used to crash into the towers.
In his paper, Jones stayed away from commenting on most other aspects of 9/11 except for the freefall of the towers and the limited criticism of the “pod theory.”
“I did receive emails about why I did that (criticized the pod theory) and even told Morgan Reynolds, I really felt it was important to stick with the issues of 9/11 that are the most obvious and the easiest to prove. That is why I wanted to limit my discussion, but in further papers I plan to address other 9/11 issues. Also, I feel the 9/11 community needs to work together and not be splintered by constantly arguing among ourselves over conflicting theories that may take away from the ones we can conclusively prove.”
Jones literally shocked the “Red State” of Utah and the conservative world when he released his 19 page critical paper basically ripping apart the official 9/11 story, limiting his discussion to his expertise in physics and the virtual impossibility of the towers falling from merely jet fuel as the government contends.
Jones earlier said he first presented his explosive conclusions at Brigham Young University (BYU) on September 22, to 60 people from the BYU and Utah Valley State College faculties, including professors of Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Geology, Mathematics and Psychology.
After presently scientific arguments in favor of the controlled demolition theory, Jones said everyone in attendance from all backgrounds, conservative and liberal, were in total agreement further investigation was needed.
Jones added that the contingent of faculty members at the September seminar were all in agreement that the government needed to “come clean” and release more that 6,900 photographs and close to 7,000 segments of video footage, now being held from independent investigation by the FBI and other agencies.
In Jones’ 9,000 word paper, his conclusions why the towers most likely were brought down by a controlled demolition can be summed up as follows.:
• The three buildings collapsed nearly symmetrically, falling down into their footprints, a phenomenon associated with "controlled demolition" — and even then it's very difficult, he says. "Why would terrorists undertake straight-down collapses of WTC-7 and the Towers when 'toppling over' falls would require much less work and would do much more damage in downtown Manhattan?" Jones asks. "And where would they obtain the necessary skills and access to the buildings for a symmetrical implosion anyway? The 'symmetry data' emphasized here, along with other data, provide strong evidence for an 'inside' job."
• No steel-frame building, before or after the WTC buildings, has ever collapsed due to fire. But explosives can effectively sever steel columns, he says.
• WTC 7, which was not hit by hijacked planes, collapsed in 6.6 seconds, just .6 of a second longer than it would take an object dropped from the roof to hit the ground. "Where is the delay that must be expected due to conservation of momentum, one of the foundational laws of physics?" he asks. "That is, as upper-falling floors strike lower floors — and intact steel support columns — the fall must be significantly impeded by the impacted mass. . . . How do the upper floors fall so quickly, then, and still conserve momentum in the collapsing buildings?" The paradox, he says, "is easily resolved by the explosive demolition hypothesis, whereby explosives quickly removed lower-floor material, including steel support columns, and allow near free-fall-speed collapses." These observations were not analyzed by FEMA, NIST nor the 9/11 Commission, he says.
• With non-explosive-caused collapse there would typically be a piling up of shattering concrete. But most of the material in the towers was converted to flour-like powder while the buildings were falling, he says. "How can we understand this strange behavior, without explosives? Remarkable, amazing — and demanding scrutiny since the U.S. government-funded reports failed to analyze this phenomenon."
• Horizontal puffs of smoke, known as squibs, were observed proceeding up the side the building, a phenomenon common when pre-positioned explosives are used to demolish buildings, he says.
• Steel supports were "partly evaporated," but it would require temperatures near 5,000 degrees Fahrenheit to evaporate steel — and neither office materials nor diesel fuel can generate temperatures that hot. Fires caused by jet fuel from the hijacked planes lasted at most a few minutes, and office material fires would burn out within about 20 minutes in any given location, he says.
• Molten metal found in the debris of the World Trade Center may have been the result of a high-temperature reaction of a commonly used explosive such as thermite, he says. Buildings not felled by explosives "have insufficient directed energy to result in melting of large quantities of metal," Jones says.
• Multiple loud explosions in rapid sequence were reported by numerous observers in and near the towers, and these explosions occurred far below the region where the planes struck, he says.

Prasanna Kalahasthi, 25, a USC dental student and married to Pendyala Vamsikrishna, a Flight 11 passenger, killed herslf approximately one month after 9/11 in her Los Angeles apartment even though friends say she was 'in good spirits and determined to finish dental school.'
A friend of an alleged Flight 11 passenger said he was "shocked and amazed" after learning five weeks after 9/11 his friend's wife committed suicide in her Los Angeles apartment in an apparent act of despair.
But others were quick to point out that foul play has never been ruled out, according to several sources close to the suicide investigation.
Not only was this 9/11 suicide shocking and difficult to understand, but the alleged victim's husband, Pendyala Vamsikrishna of India, was never even listed on the original Flight 11 manifest, only appearing later as a passenger on a couple of conflicting unofficial lists.
Due to the numerous inconsistencies and irregularities on all four 9/11 flight manifests, critics of the official government story contend many of the passengers probably never existed at all or were concocted as the result of carefully constructed aliases, essentially faking their deaths.
Further, critics contend if the passenger lists were suspect then so were the planes, calling the 9/11 jetliners 'phantom flights,' paving the way for military drones to be used to attack the WTC and Pentagon.
Others who disagree with the official story for the most part buy into the drone theory, but theorize the unlucky passengers actually were killed by being transferred onto a single airliner and then either dumped into the Atlantic or taken to one of the many hidden underground government bases.
Of course, both theories have their skeptics, but the irregularity of the passenger lists, the evidence refuting the existence of the flights, eye-witness accounts of seeing a cargo plane without windows slam into the towers and the strange silence among the airline family members makes it imperative to pursue a full scale investigation into the whereabouts and real identities of each and every passenger listed by the government as dead.
And the case of Vamsikrishna, a 30 year old engineer from India, and his wife who committed suicide, called unlikely or very strange by those in the Hindu community, is just another example of the many mysteries surrounding the 9/11 passengers and their families.
Going back to a month after 9/11, Prasanna Kalahasthi, 25, a USC dental student from India and Vamsikrishna's wife, was found dead in her Catalina St. apartment in Los Angeles on Oct. 19, 2001.
Investigators noted there was no suicide note and the only thing found next to her body was a letter from then New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani inviting her to an upcoming memorial service at Ground Zero to mourn 9/11 victims.
After the apparent suicide, several school friends and even family members said Kalashasthi was, of course, devastated by her loss, being married for only a short time, but was determined to move forward and complete her dental studies.
Further, friends pointed out she was devout Hindu who believed in reincarnation, making suicide an even more unlikely choice since a return to earth is inevitable according to Kalashasthi's Hindu beliefs.
"I knew Vamsi, that's what we called him at school in India, and I was shocked when he died on 9/11," said school friend Anupendra Sharma in a telephone conversation this week from his home on the east coast. "What was very strange, though, was his wife's suicide. They were only married for a year and she had recently just come to America to go to USC.
"Vamsi's parents also are back in India and came to the Unites States for the funerals. I know Vamsi's wife was very upset and there were some accounts of her suicide in the local papers. "
Also, I should say I wasn't a personal friend of his but knew of him at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India , where we both went to school in 1992. They did tell me, though, that his loved ones were notified that they found some of Vamsi's remains in the wreckage, but I am not sure of specifics."
Although it's unlikely to recover of any remains in a towering inferno like the WTC, the Arctic Beacon has uncovered a strange trail of suspicious evidence emanating from passengers at both the Pentagon and WTC, indicating the FBI may have been busy planting phony evidence at all locations on 9/11.
For example, two California ID cards of Flight 77 passenger, Susanne Calley, were miraculously uncovered in the Pentagon wreckage by a first responder, Capt. Jim Ingledue of the Virginia Beach Fire Department two days after 9/11.
Although Capt. Ingledue believes the official account of 9/11, he admitted it was "very strange and highly unusual" to find unblemished paper-thin evidence in a meltdown like the Pentagon.
And even more miraculously than Calley's ID's a year after 9/11, four unscathed credit cards were returned to the parents of Waleed Iskandar, a suspicious Flight 11 passenger also not on the original passenger list but included a year later on unofficial flight lists.
Strangely, in light of the miraculous discoveries, both Iskandar and Calley's loved one's did not question the return or authenticity of the items returned, adding they were in perfect agreement with the government's official version of 9/11.
Although Vamsikrishna's parents could not be reached in India to discuss their son's case, Sharma's recollection of his friend isn't the only one commenting about the strange nature of Kalashasthi's suicide.
Anuradha Gupta, another friend from India who attended the same technical school, wrote a tribute shortly after the suicide, saying:
"On October 20th, a friend called me, overcome with emotion and told me that Prasanna, studying to be a dental student had committed suicide the previous day. When newspaper reports came in, we all were shocked and almost defensive.
"We told people that Hindus do not believe in suicide, that they believe in reincarnation and that their journey towards learning and evolution does not end with deathexcept that sometimes one can't handle despair beyond a point "
We heard that Prasanna, a USC graduate student in the International Student Program for Foreign-Trained Dentists since April 2001 had moved to US only a year back, and was found in her Catalina Street apartment on Friday, October 19th. She was 25 years old. Near her body, they found a letter from New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani dated Oct. 12th inviting her to a memorial service scheduled for Oct. 28th to mourn the death of her husband.
"And from her friends, I learnt that though she was devastated, she was determined to move on and complete her dental course. However, a few questions haunted her"
In the tribute, Gupta also commented that Kalashasthi refused counseling, all of friends saying she was recovering "fine" from the tragedy.
"The University Director of Student Counseling Service, Bradford King had referred her to Nadadur S. Kumar, associate director of the Office of International Services," wrote Gupta. "In their regular chats, Kumar reminded Prasanna that counselors, even Indian ones were available to help her. Bradford even offered to walk her across to the counseling center. But it was her choice to not go in for professional counseling, not because of the stigma attached but because she felt she was doing fine, as did everybody else. "
Prasanna did reassure her families that L.A. was her home and that she would move on. Her brother was moving into the apartment she and her husband had shared near the USC campus to be with her, and she also had a new, extended family that included her friends, her classmates, and people at the University."
The strange suicide and Vamsikrishna's questionable passenger status is just another example of the many oddities coming forward about the passengers on board all four 9/11 flights.
In the past, the Arctic Beacon has found most of the families of the doomed flights have remained silent or a few that have returned phone calls agree with the official 9/11 story word for word.
This, however, is in stark contrast to the families of victims at Ground Zero who readily come forward, many openly disagreeing vehemently with the official story.

Calvin Moser was working on the 8th floor and several feet away from dying that morning back in 1995. Admitting the full truth has not been told about what really happened, he says the emotional scars may never heal.
The Oklahoma City bombing seems like light years away, especially after 9/11 has cast its ugly shadow over the American landscape.But for survivor, Calvin Moser, it seems like only yesterday.A long time HUD employee working on the 8thfloor of the federal building, he was one of the lucky ones who walked away from the 1995 bombing, killing 168.He somehow miraculously walked away, walking away bruised and battered after being precisely in the right place at the right time when the bombs exploded all around his office at 9:02am.
It was an explosion heard around the world, but Moser knows that all too well. He knows that first hand because when the bombs went off, it seemed like the walls of hell were caving in, feeling as if he was smack dab in the middle of the "end of the world."Why some people live and some die in tragedies like 9/11 and Oklahoma City is a question for a higher power. But in Moser's case, like a short movie clip playing over and over in his head, he knows exactly why he is here today to tell his story."It was a matter of seconds, a matter of literally feet and I wouldn't be here talking today," said Moser in an extended telephone conversation this week from his five acre home on the outskirts of Oklahoma City. "I was sitting at my desk when all of a sudden, without thinking, I slid my chair across the room to get to the computer right by the window. I was only about eight inches from the when it happened.
"All of a sudden I felt a tremendous explosion all around me, ringing from below and up above. The windows blew in and threw me across the room, but since I was so close to them, they didn't hit me with any kind of deadly force, which I believe they would have if I was still sitting at my desk. That one quick move over to the windows probably saved my life and, like a movie, every time I think about it, I can see myself sliding across the room on my chair."Although 10 years have gone by since that awful morning, it is evident in Moser's voice he still recalls the life changing event like it was yesterday since once someone comes so close to death, life is never the same after."I remember looking over the ledge at the devastation. The windows were blown out, nothing was there and I remember people screaming," recalls the 36 year veteran at HUD, adding his first thought after the explosion wasn't of himself but for many of his co-workers and friends who weren't so lucky.
"After something like this happens, for the first couple of hours you are running on pure adrenalin and emotions are very high. I knew some of the people that I had just talked to at my coffee break moments before the bombing didn't make it because everything in the middle of the office was gutted out. I was on the north side of the building and there was no way to even go in the other parts of my office as it was completely devastated. After the explosion, I was basically looking out over a ledge wondering how I survived."My first real thoughts were of my best friend, Dave Walker. We were friends from college and worked together. In fact, we had just had coffee together that morning in the office before the explosion. I looked over in his direction and I knew there was trouble as the whole building had dropped, making it impossible to even go over and try to help him."I later found out he didn't make it like some of the others I just said hello to on the way back to my desk. The pain of losing Dave and the others is something that never went away and probably never will. I experienced some pretty close calls in Korea when I was in the military, but nothing like what happened on that bright and sunny morning in Oklahoma City.
And after a tragedy of this magnitude, it's easy to forget about people like Moser, easy to forget about the human side of the story.All too often as the years pass, recollections of tragedies like OC and 9/11 become devoid of human emotion, the events becoming like a video on a Hollywood movie screen.But stories like Moser's bring us all back to reality, bringing us back to the painful reality that the importance of finding the truth about what really happened on 9/11 and at OC should be done purely for the honor and memory of those who paid the ultimate price, nothing else.But, in reality, what happens is just the opposite. What happens is egos take over, special interests take charge and the truth becomes hidden from the victim's families, slapping them in the face with lies after they already have been knocked to the canvass with tragedy.
"I was really not happy with the government trial and I don't think the full truth is known about really happened at Oklahoma City," said Moser, adding his involvement with a nationwide victim's outreach group, including 9/11 survivors and family members, has given him a unique prospective into how people react to tragedies of the magnitude of 9/11 and OC."One thing, as a group, we do not accept easy explanations and are very aware who may or may not be telling truth. I think when the bombing first occurred, I was naïve, thinking the government would conduct a fair and honest investigation, but over the years I've learned this was not the case.
"This year when I traveled to New York to be with the 9/11 families on the fourth anniversary of that tragic event, I found many survivors and family members felt like they were not getting the truth or a proper investigation by the government into why and how their loved one's were killed.
December 6, 2005, Arctic Beacon, Commercial Pilot and Aeronautical Engineer Explains Why Official 9/11 Story About Pentagon Is Bogus, Nila Sagadevan sets the record straight about Pentagon crash while 9/11 fringe movement meets Dec. 7 in Tampa for beginning of five-day rally. By Greg Szymanski
It’s impossible to fit a square peg in a round hole. It’s equally as impossible to fit a large 757 airliner through a small hole like left in the Pentagon wall after 9/11.
And this is just one of the many examples that the official 9/11 story makes no sense. In fact, it makes about as much sense as trying to keep jamming that square peg into that proverbial round hole.
However, while the feds fiddle with pegs that don’t fit, the 9/11 debate rages on across the country, mainly among the fringe truth movement groups whose numbers are small.
And this is precisely where politicians want the debate to remain, away from the public’s ear, since so far they have been dealt a winning 9/11 hand, knowing any serious measure to bring justice has been effectively cut-off.
So this week the fringe 9/11 movement takes its “forces and soldiers of truth” to Tampa and Miami, Florida, staging a five day assembly starting Dec 7 with the intent to spark a larger public debate and bring the “enemy within” to justice.
Millionaire Jimmy Walter is footing the bill and hosting the event with speakers to include Dave von Kleist, Joyce Riley, Morgan Reynolds, Eric Hufschmid, William Rodriguez and others. There is an $11 entry fee and it will be interesting to see the turn-out, including the media coverage which in the past has been sporadic at best for 9/11 truth events.
Although the speakers bring to the table interesting facts discounting the official story, Rodriguez will be the most compelling, telling his tale of hearing explosions in the basement prior to the airplane hitting theNorth Tower.
But one person in attendance not on the speaker’s list is commercial pilot and aeronautical engineer, Nila Sagedevan. And the reason he should be speaking, at least about the Pentagon crash, is because once he gives his technical rendition of why the government story is bogus, it’s like someone finally held up, for the whole world to see, the round peg fitting perfectly into the round hole.
In the past, many pilots and other experts have tried to communicate the impossibility of the flight pattern taken by an inexperienced Arab terrorist in the cockpit, but none have done a better job than Sagedevan, telling the story from an expert’s pint of view but communicating so the layman has no trouble understanding.
Recently, Sagadevan spent two hours on Greg Szymanski’s radio show, The Investigative Journal, on the Republic Broadcast Network at www.rbnlive.com, leaving the audience nodding their heads in agreement that the Pentagon crash couldn’t have happened the way the government contends.
“Let’s look at it plain and simple,” said Sagadevan in an extended telephone conference this week from his home near San Diego. “The government wants us to believe that a person who couldn’t even solo a small Cessna took over the controls of a Boeing 757 jetliner and performed complicated maneuvers even myself or other experienced pilots could have never performed.
“It’s just not going to happen and, from my point of view, is impossible. If this was fabricated by the government so was the rest of the 9/11 story.”
But staying on point, Sagadevan wanted to further illustrate the absurdity of a small, inexperienced 5’8” Arab terrorist, taking over the controls of the jetliner from a burly, well-trained former military pilot.
“You mean to tell me, the supposed terrorist overpowered the pilot, who weighed more than 185 lbs and trained in the military. And then after that overpowered the co-pilot in the same manner, a person who also weighed upwards of 185 lbs,” said Sagadevan, emphasizing experts aren’t needed to explain the absurdity of this portion of the government story.
“I am not sure if anyone has been in the cockpit of one of one of these big jets, but I will tell you there isn’t much space. How in the world would one man pull out two big pilots in cramped quarters while, at the same time, maintaining control of the airliner. Again, it’s just not going to happen.
“In the beginning right after 9/11, like most people, I believed most of what I heard about 9/11, not really giving much thought to a government conspiracy. However, about a year ago when I began gathering information related to my expertise as an aeronautical engineer and pilot, I began to see clearly how the government story regarding the four flights, their paths and their pilots didn’t make sense.
“Now I am firmly convinced after looking at an enormous amount of evidence, as well as using well-establishing aviation principles, that something else crashed into the Pentagon since it couldn’t have been a commercial jetliner.”
Besides calling attention to the impossibility of a untrained pilot performing complex flight maneuvers and navigation, Sagadevan said the flight path taken near the Pentagon was also impossible for a large jetliner to perform without crashing before reaching the Pentagon.
“First of all, the supposed pilot would have been overwhelmed just looking at the complexity of the cockpit controls,” said Sagadevan. “He would have had no idea what to do, but we are led to believe that he was able to turn the jet around, head back to Washington D.C. and then bank at high speeds and at a low altitude, hitting a target which would have looked as small as thimble from the air. Again, it’s impossible and you don’t really need an expert to make this final determination.”
Sagadevan was quick to point out one of the main problems with the government story is the low trajectory of the airplane, flying at high speeds and roughly only 20 feet off the ground for a long distance, another impossibility defying the standard principles of aviation.
“The evidence indicates that the airplane was flying low before it reached the Pentagon lawn since several light poles were sheared off several hundred yards away form the building,” explained Sagadevan. “With that in mind, the plane was traveling at about 400 knots at about 20 feet off the ground for a long distance prior to hitting the Pentagon.
“This in itself is an impossibility since the airplane would have been kept from hitting the ground by a cushion of air termed 'ground effect.' No pilot in the world would have been able to control the plane while maintained that air speed at 20 feet off the ground for that long a distance. Again, it’s just impossible but here I will admit that an expert is needed in order to explain the standards of lift and drag associated with flying a large airliner.
From the beginning of the supposed hijacking of Flight 77 and to its eventual crash into the Pentagon wall, Sagadevan presents a compelling case, essentially crushing the official story. He also mentioned the what's also overlooked is the 'jet wash' from the airplane would have caused tremendous ground damage on the approach, something not evident in the aftermath of the Pentagon crash.
“I really don’t understand how anyone could give the government’s story any credibility after seeing the original pictures taken of the small hole left in the Pentagon wall by whatever flew into it,” said Sagadevan. “I am not totally sure what the military used but one thing for sure, it wasn’t a 757 jetliner.”
Sagadevan is referring to the tiny circumference of the hole left in the Pentagon wall, illustrated on pictures taken right after the crash scene, but immediately taken out of circulation and never widely distributed by the news media to the American people.
“I think if someone just looks at the hole left and then looks at the size of 757, experts aren’t needed to determine it was an impossibility that a big jet hit the Pentagon wall, especially when there was very little wreckage visible after the crash,” added Sagadevan.
Regarding the Pentagon crash, as Sagadevan aptly points out, there are “so many holes in the story” that it becomes, as the English say, rather a laughing matter, making one believe even the bungling Inspector Clouseau, made famous by Peter Sellers, could crack the case wide open if given half a chance.
But the problem is Inspector Clouseau, Sagadevan and every other independent investigator haven’t been given the chance, leaving the case to be investigated and tried in the court of public opinion, a place where politicians like it and know they are safe from prosecution.

Douglas Herman, author of novel 'The Guns of Dallas,' asking editors tough 9/11 questions and planning to print results based on standards set by old-time journalistic legend, Joseph Pulitzer.
The days of the American free press are over but Douglas Herman isn't throwing in the towel.
Herman, author of a novel called 'The Guns of Dallas' about a truth-seeking journalist banished from the mainstream press, is now delving into the 'real world,' a world he says is 'stranger than fiction.'
After fictionalizing the demise of the American press through the eyes of news reporter, David Pilgrim, Herman decided to find out just how bad things really are inside newsrooms of America's major daily newspapers.
So Herman put on his 'real journalistic hat" and fashioned a four question survey to be sent to 100 prominent big city editors, delving into their coverage of 9/11 and asking whether coverage was fair and honest in their respective publications.
"I am conducting a brief, four question survey of 100 prominent editors about the 911 attacks and news coverage of the event. The findings will be published online and in print," said Herman, including in his query several 9/11 stories printed in the alternative/internet press.
"The stories I am sending are really pretty tame stuff for those already in the '911 Truth Movement.' I mean there is no need to overwhelm them with the WTC-7 controlled demolition right away!"
But for many of these news editors, guys who go to work for the mainstream, this stuff might be as hot as DU. Fear not, conscience makes cowards of all of us. At least if these news editors take the time to open the story links, they'll be in for a very, very disturbing but thought-provoking day.
"Besides getting the editors to search inside their 'journalistic souls," Herman is asking some tough questions, at least tough questions for editors who have obviously been hiding the truth about 9/11. Herman's questions, however, ask for clear-cut answers from the nation's top editors, answers they may find difficult to answer:
1. Does the US media purposely avoid disturbing news stories of 911 contradictions (see example below) that conflict with the official government version of events?
2. Has your newspaper ever mentioned any significant news story (or stories) that disagreed with the official Kean Commission version of 911 events?
3. Is it treasonous or patriotic to claim that 911 attacks were partly or completely an 'inside job,' as internet bloggers claim (see below)?
4. If you personally became suspicious that 911 was possibly an inside job--by a rogue element in the government--would you suppress the story rather than inform, and thus distress, your readers?
Herman started sending the surveys to editors last week, adding he plans to publish the results of his findings in an upcoming article.Saying the responses should provide an interesting insight into the psyche of the editors, he is also carefully weighing the answers against the principles established by the former owner of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Joseph Pulitzer, whose name was honored by the American press with its most coveted yearly awards called 'The Pulitzer Prize."Herman recalled Pulitzer's statements about truth in journalism made in 1907 upon his retirement, words many of today's editors may find difficult to swallow.
Pulitzer said:
"I know that my retirement will make no difference in its cardinal principles, that it (St Louis Post-Dispatch) will always fight for progress and reform, never tolerate injustice or corruption, always fight demagogues of all parties, never belong to any party, always oppose privileged classes and public plunderers, never lack sympathy with the poor, always remain devoted to the public welfare, never be satisfied with merely printing news, always be drastically independent, never be afraid to attack wrong, whether by predatory plutocracy or predatory poverty."
And it probably would be safe to say that Pulitzer may be turning over in his grave, wanting to pull his name form the prestigious awards given out yearly, considering the media's pathetic coverage of 9/11, the Patriot Act and doctoring of WMD intelligence reports to sell the war in Iraq.
Besides Pulitzer's obvious grumblings over the state of the American media, his beloved Post-Dispatch also became another independent daily newspaper to recently tumble, falling into corporate ownership of the media giant, Lee Enterprises, who bought the flagship paper from the Pulitzer family for roughly $1.46 billion earlier this year.

Four years after 9/11, numerous people have come forward with damaging
evidence but the government has never even blinked an eye.
Worse yet, the state sponsored media and the American people have turned a blind eye and a deaf ear, a sign of cover-up by the media and apathy on the part of the people.
But let's not forget the media is a private enterprise, able to violate the public trust without losing too much sleep, while the majority of people in America are showing their true colors by using their constitutional right to simply remain uninformed.
Probably, if cornered, most Americans would try to wiggle their way out of that accusation, but the sad fact remains most of them just don't care.
In fact, Eric Hufschmid, a long time 9/11 truth activist and first to put together strong evidence of a WTC controlled demolition in his book Painful Questions, recently hit the nail on the head when he said:
"It's time for people to wake-up! The evidence is there, folks."
Hufschmid is right. The evidence is there and the American people are ashamedly asleep at the wheel. They're sound asleep, as Hufschmid points out, because every time solid evidence is presented, making a case for a government 9/11 inside job, it goes in one ear and out the other.
And to make matters worse, the evidence goes by way of "file 69" while politicians, without even as much as blinking a sorry eye, stroll hand-in-hand by the Potomac, smoking cigars and laughing all the way to the bank.
But this scene is too easy to visualize as "Fatso" sprawls on the couch watching reruns of God only knows what while the other "Politician Fatsos" feed out of the government money trough like a bunch of dirty fat pigs.
However, the truth is that Americans have the right under the Constitution to get fat, stay apathetic and remain uninformed, a situation ruthless power-grabbers in high places feed on like sharks in blood infested waters.
And as President Baby Bush so aptly put it the other day, "The Constitution is only a piece of paper" not worth wiping one's rear-end on. But from the mouth of a foolish President in this case comes the sad truth since the Constitution is only a "piece of paper" when the majority of people choose to remain uninformed.
For example, concerning 9/11, more than a year ago the Arctic Beacon interviewed Michael Bellone, a former honorary New York fireman working at Ground Zero who, along with fireman, Vincent DiMasi, uncovered three of the four airplane black boxes in the WTC wreckage.
Bellone insisted he found the black boxes, was told to "shut up" about it after the FBI confiscated the evidence and then after a few press clippings, nothing was every heard about it again, the 9/11 Commission and the government and the majority of Americans just ignoring the evidence.
A year ago, Bellone had this to say from his New York home:
"They confronted me and told me to not to say anything," recalls Bellone, referring to one of three reddish-orange boxes with two white stripes he saw in the back of DeMasi's ATV. "I said give me a good reason? When they couldn't, I told them I wouldn't shut up about it.
"Why should I? I have nothing to hide and nothing to gain. It's the truth and Nick and I are sticking to our story as we always have."
In fact, a year ago Bellone said he and DeMasi were not the only 911 rescue workers to see the black boxes, adding there were several other witnesses and knowing first hand they had aslo been silenced by federal agents.
"I know two or three others saw what went down, but they are not talking," added Bellone. "They got to those guys after they talked to me. The only reasonI can figure they are trying to hide the truth is that the government knows it screwed up and the recorders would prove it.
"I can tell you this, though, it was all very strange. I worked on the spaceship Columbia clean-up and you know when something important is found and when something is not" he recalled, saying the day the 'black boxes' were secretly carted away agents acted like "something big was going down."
So, four years ago something big went down. The FBI confiscated evidence showing the airplanes hitting the WTC were not jetliners but most likely military cargo drones. One would think in light of this discovery the next logical step would be to force the government to turn over the boxes, leading to case closed since if they turned the boxes over, the evidence demonstrates the lies and, if they don't turn them over, it demonstrates a cover-up which is equally as bad.
But instead what happens. The back boxes remain hidden and the reason they have never been made public is because most of the American people really don't care, unfortunately deciding once again to exercise their constitutional right to remain plunked down on the couch in front of the television remaining "happily uninformed."
And the list of 9/11 evidence ignored doesn't stop here. The long list of compelling evidence shoved under the rug by the government, left hidden there by an apathetic populace is astounding. It's so astounding, as they say, it really "blows one's mind."
There is, of course, the eye-witness testimony of not less than 30 people and, probably many more, who witnessed explosions in the WTC basement prior to the airplanes hitting the towers.
Then there is the Pentagon evidence and concealment of evidence that provides enough incriminating facts to put Bush and the gang away for a hundred lifetimes.
And, of course, there is the recent BYU physics professor, to name one of a hundred experts, who all concur that the laws of physics demonstrate without question the WTC collapsed from a controlled demolition not jet fuel like the government contends.
"The list of compelling evidence is endless and you don't need experts to show that the government is lying about 9/11," said Phil Jayhan, one of the few Americans who chooses to be informed.
In fact, the list of 9/11 evidence showing a government complicity before, during and after is so strong - so legally sound - even a third rate ambulance chasing lawyer could convince a jury.
However, since the case is still open and in the court of public opinion, more evidence is still being gathered as if investigators really needed to put more legal icing on the 9/11 cake.
And it will be interesting to see whether the next piece of 9/11 cake will be again ignored by the American people.
For example, this Friday on the Power Hour radio show, Dave von Kleist and Joyce Riley will interview former Pentagon insider working there on 9/11 who will present damaging evidence that the military brass lied about what type of aircraft actually struck the Pentagon.
Although Flowers was unavailable for comment, he is going to tell Riley and von Kleist on Friday that he was one of "many who were given prepared written statements to say that a commercial airliner hit the Pentagon" when in fact they had no knowledge of the fact or knew it was false.
"Under those chaotic conditions, Paul thought his prescribed protocol was acting in national security's best interests. Well, today he sees the big mistake he had made by not telling the immediate truth," said a promotion on the Power Hour web site for the Friday interview.
By following orders from the Pentagon brass, Flowers provides even more evidence that the government was involved in causing 9/11 and the resulting deaths of more than 3,000 people.
However, the real story more interesting than the evidence itself, will be whether the American people once again will choose to remain plunked on the couch, exercising their inalienable right to remain uninformed while another piece of vital 9/11 evidence goes in one ear and out the other like so many times before.

Donna Marsh O'Connor has been shunned by CNN and other large networks since her views are critical of the Bush administration's handling and cover-up of 9/11.
Donna Marsh O'Connor lost her daughter at the WTC South Tower and is one of the many grieving family members still fighting against insurmountable odds to get at the truth behind 9/11.
It's been a long, hard battle, fighting a fascist mindset imbedded in the U.S. government and unwilling every step of the way to mount a fair investigation.
"What is the Bush administration hiding and why haven't they even answered or addressed major questions about 9/11," asked O'Connor while be interviewed Thursday on Greg Szymanski's radio show, The Investigative Journal, on the Republic Broadcasting Network.
Thrust into the role of an activist, something she never counted on until her 29-year-old daughter's death, O'Conner holds President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney personally accountable.
On the radio show she essentially re-emphasized what she said last September 11 at a New York rally where she called for the impeachment of Bush and his cronies.
"Look in the crowd," she said at the rally near in a park near the United Nations building. "We need more suits out there. We simply need more awareness if we ever want to get anywhere.
"I don't know if we will ever get these guys. I hold Bush and Cheney responsible 9/11 and for blocking any type of meaningful investigation. I would like to see the truth come out in my lifetime, but I just don't know.
"Bush, Cheney and Karl Rove, at his demonic best, have blocked all chance at getting at the truth. When a crime is committed, you look to who benefits for motive. Bush and Cheney had the most to benefit. All I ever wanted was the questions to be answered. Where was NORAD? Eighteen minutes is a lifetime in air traffic control and if they would have acted, my daughter would be alive today."
For those like O'Connor fighting the "good fight" in the trenches, one of the biggest obstacles to getting at the 9/11 truth has been a corrupted media, refusing to allow voices like O'Connor's to be heard.
"I never wanted to be an activist and it's interesting that there was a CNN reporter who heard my views, telling me she wanted to bring out a camera crew and do a full-blown interview," recalled O'Connor. "It never happened and later I found out she wasn't allowed to do it. So what does that tell you about our media?"
Besides her personal experience with CNN, Marsh was also critical about the recent slanted reporting and on-air whitewashing of a 9/11 related issue by conservative media personality, Tucker Carlson.
"Carlson basically made BYU physics professor Steven Jones look like a quack for saying the WTC most likely was brought down by a controlled demolition," said O'Connor about the professor who went public criticizing the government's official 9/11 story.
"He didn't even bother to play the video of Building 7 being demolished like Jones wanted, showing how critics of the government are being portrayed as quacks by the biased media."
Besides the media bias, O'Connor also emphasized the crooked nature of the 9/11 Commission, saying they were nothing more than a hand-picked group of government hacks never intending from the get-go at searching for the truth.
Some of the questions she personally wanted answered included why were the Saudis allowed to leave the country right after 9/11 when all other flights were cancelled? Others included why were those in the South Tower not told to evacuate right after the North Tower was hit and why, in general, does Bush think he has the right to refuse answering questions about the discrepancies in the official government story when millions in America don't believe it?
"When my daughter, Vanessa, was running for her life, why was George W. Bush reading to second graders?" she asked, adding Bush, the person, is even more frightening than Bush the politician. "I have a knack at reading people and Bush is a nasty little brat.
"He is belligerent, narcissistic and insecure. His entire life is spent covering up and it is painful to watch him talk with his constant pausing and groping for words and sentences."
Saying that Bush and his cronies are dangerous, O'Connor puts nothing past this gang of criminals in the White House, saying she is prepared to speak out anytime, anyplace or anywhere in order to wake-up America to the reality that the enemy of America lies within.
"Bush scares me," she added, "because he and his friends are willing to do anything to get what they want.
We have to start preparing ourselves for a biological attack. There are just so many things he has done since 9/11."
Besides losing her daughter, O'Connor also lost the opportunity of being a grandmother, as Vanessa was found to be pregnant after her body was one of only 289 bodies recovered in tact at Ground Zero out of the approximately 3,000 who perished.
Also last July 25, O'Connor's family suffered another 9/11 related tragedy when Vanessa's husband, Timothy, died from what was determined to be alcohol poisoning.
"He starting drinking after 9/11 and never stopped. He loved her very much and never was the same after she died. I think he died for Vanessa," said O'Connor.

There have been numerous 9/11 survivors and first responders who reported explosions going off before the Twin Towers fell, providing more than adequate eye-witness testimony that jet fuel, as reported by the government, was not the cause for the free-fall of the buildings.
However, this shocking evidence has been virtually ignored by official investigators, including the 9/11 Commission. Instead, official still cling to the flimsy theory that jet fuel from the two airliners caused the towers to topple, even though airplane collisions have never in the history of skyscrapers caused one to collapse.
Although there is plenty of physical evidence to show that towers collapsed in a free-fall due to a controlled demolition, it is this strong eye witness testimony by hundreds of witnesses that proves categorically that the government is purposely covering up its involvement in 9/11.
Years ago, the Arctic Beacon began interviewing numerous witnesses who reported explosions going off inside the Twin Towers just prior to the planes crashing into the upper floors, as well as explosions going off as the buildings came tumbling down in a free-fall.
In fact, this publication was one of the first to extensively tell the story of head janitor William Rodriguez, who along with 14 other people heard explosions emanating from the sub basement of the North Tower a split second after the impact of the jetliner on the top floors.
Rodriguez was huddled together with a group of people in a lower level office when he said:
"When I heard the sound of the explosion, the floor beneath my feet vibrated, the walls started cracking and it everything started shaking."
Besides the testimony of Rodriguez and the 14 others, completely ignored by the 9/11 Commission, a man by the name of Felipe David who was filling vending machines in the North Tower sub levels, suffered third degree burns from the lower level explosions occurring just seconds after the airplane hitting on the top floors.
According to Rodriguez who ushered David to safety, the burns inflicted on the dying man who miraculously survived could not have come from the airplane fuel above but had to be the result of massive explosions emanating from the sub levels.
"Seconds after the first massive explosion below in the basement still rattled the floor, I hear another explosion from way above," said Rodriguez. "Although I was unaware at the time, this was the airplane hitting the tower, it occurred moments after the first explosion."
But before Rodriguez had time to think, co-worker Felipe David stormed into the basement office with severe burns on his face and arms, screaming for help and yelling "explosion! explosion! explosion!"
David had been in front of a nearby freight elevator on sub-level 1 about 400 feet from the office when fire burst out of the elevator shaft, causing his injuries.
"He was burned terribly," said Rodriguez. "The skin was hanging off his hands and arms. His injuries couldn't have come from the airplane above, but only from a massive explosion below. I don’t care what the government says, what scientists say. I saw a man burned terribly from a fire that was caused from an explosion below.
"I know there were explosives placed below the trade center. I helped a man to safety who is living proof, living proof the government story is a lie and a cover-up." (Taken from earlier Arctic Beacon stories.)
Besides this harrowing account, The Arctic Beacon interviewed numerous other eyewitnesses who talked about similar explosions throughout the towers before they collapsed, one such witness being firefighter, Lou Cacchioli.
It is important to note as more and more credible witnesses came forward with similar accounts blowing holes wide open in the government’s 9/11 story, the only thing that remained constant was the stonewalling of this this testimony by the 9/11 Commission.

"... As I'm walking by the main freight car of the building, in the corridor, that's when I got blown. I mean the impact of the explosion, from whatever happened, it threw me to the floor. And that's when everything started happening. It knocked me right to the floor. You didn't know what it was. Of course, you're assuming something fell over on the loading dock, something very heavy, something very big. You don't know what happened. And all of a sudden you just felt the floor moving. ... I was racing -- I was going towards the bathroom. All of a sudden. I opened the door. I didn't know it was a bathroom And all of a sudden a big impact happened again. And I now started running towards the parking lots."
Nearly 100 floors below where the first plane hit Phil felt the devastating impact. ...
"As I ran to the parking lots, you know, I mean, everybody screaming ... There was a lot of smoke down there. ... You gotta go clear across the whole -- from One to Two World Trade Center. That's the way you gotta run.
And then all of a sudden it happened all over again. Building Two got hit. I don't know that. I just know something else hit us to the floor. Right in the basement you felt it. The walls were caving in. Everything that was going on. I know of people that got killed in the basement. I know of people that got broken legs in the basement. Article Chief Engineer 2002: Mike Pecoraro and a co-worker were working in the sub-basement of the North Tower when the first airplane hit. "They had been told to stay where they were and "sit tight" until the Assistant Chief got back to them. By this time, however, the room they were working in began to fill with a white smoke. "We smelled kerosene," Mike recalled, "I was thinking maybe a car fire was upstairs", referring to the parking garage located below grade in the tower but above the deep space where they were working. The two decided to ascend the stairs to the C level, to a small machine shop where Vito Deleo and David Williams were supposed to be working. When the two arrived at the C level, they found the machine shop gone.
"There was nothing there but rubble, " Mike said. "We're talking about a 50 ton hydraulic press? gone!" The two began yelling for their co-workers, but there was no answer. They saw a perfect line of smoke streaming through the air. "You could stand here," he said, "and two inches over you couldn't breathe. We couldn't see through the smoke so we started screaming." But there was still no answer.
The two made their way to the parking garage, but found that it, too, was gone. "There were no walls, there was rubble on the floor, and you can't see anything" he said. They decided to ascend two more levels to the building's lobby. As they ascended to the B Level, one floor above, they were astonished to see a steel and concrete fire door that weighed about 300 pounds, wrinkled up "like a piece of aluminum foil" and lying on the floor. "They got us again," Mike told his co-worker, referring to the terrorist attack at the center in 1993. Having been through that bombing, Mike recalled seeing similar things happen to the building's structure. He was convinced a bomb had gone off in the building. Mike walked through the open doorway and found two people lying on the floor. One was a female Carpenter and the other an Elevator Operator. Article Chief Engineer 2002: "That morning a note had been left for Joe by the Chief Engineer of the midnight to 8 a.m. shift telling him that a tenant on the 38th floor wanted to see him as early as possible. So after distributing the work orders to his staff, he entered one of the tower's elevator cars and headed up into the building.
On the 38th floor, Joe Shearin exited the elevator and began his walk down the hallway to meet with the tenant who had requested to see him. About 50 feet down the hallway, he heard a loud explosion and was lifted into the air. "I can't even tell you how far I traveled," he recalled. When he landed, people were already coming out of their offices into the hallway. "They were screaming, hollering," he said. "They were asking what they should do and where they should go". Joe directed them down the stairwells and out of the building. Although its spectacularly televised impact was above Elliott, at first he and those around him thought an explosion had come from below. Transcript of FDNY radio communications on 9/11: Battalion Chief Orio Palmer took an elevator to the 41st floor of the South Tower, then climbed the stairs to the 78th floor. With him was Fire Marshal Ronald Bucca, who had climbed the stairs from the ground floor. They were the first firefighters to reach an airplane impact zone in either the North or South Tower. According to the 9/11 Commission Report, United Flight 175 impacted the South Tower, "crashing through the 77th to 85th floors".

Q. Was that on the lower level of the building or up where the fire was?
A. No, the lower level of the building. You know like when they demolish a building, how when they blow up a building, when it falls down? That's what I thought I saw. And I didn't broach the topic to him, but he asked me. He said I don't know if I'm crazy, but I just wanted to ask you because you were standing right next to me. He said did you see anything by the building? And I said what do you mean by see anything? He said did you see any flashes? I said, yes, well, I thought it was just me. He said no, I saw them, too. ....
Q. On the television pictures it appeared as well, before the first collapse, that there was an explosion up on the upper floors.
A. I know about the explosion on the upper floors. This was like eye level. I didn't have to go like this. Because I was looking this way. I'm not going to say it was on the first floor or the second floor, but somewhere in that area I saw to me what appeared to be flashes. I don't know how far down this was already. "I went outside to see what I could do, when I saw the second building of the World Trade Center [North Tower], still unbeknown to me the first one had collapsed.
Somewhere around the middle of the World Trade Center, there was this orange and red flash coming out. Initially it was just one flash. Then this flash just kept popping all the way around the building and that building had started to explode. The popping sound, and with each popping sound it was initially an orange and then a red flash came out of the building and then it would just go all around the building on both sides as far as I could see. These popping sounds and the explosions were getting bigger, going both up and down and then all around the building.
I went inside and I told everybody that the other building or there was an explosions occurring up there and I said I think we have another major explosion. I don't know if we are all going to be safe here. I told them I can't force you, but I don't know if we are going to be safe here. Article Arctic Beacon 7/19/05: "When he finally entered the North Tower lobby, Cacchioli recalls elevator doors completely blown out and another scene of mass chaos with people running, screaming and being hit with debris.
"I remember thinking to myself, my God, how could this be happening so quickly if a plane hit way above. It didn't make sense," said Cacchioli. ... As he made his way up along with men from Engine Co. 21, 22 and Ladder Co. 13, the doors opened on the 24th floor, a scene again that hardly made sense to the seasoned fireman, claiming the heavy dust and haze of smoke he encountered was unusual considering the location of the strike.
"Tommy Hetzel was with me and everybody else also gets out of the elevator when it stops on the 24th floor," said Cacchioli, "There was a huge amount of smoke. Tommy and I had to go back down the elevator for tools and no sooner did the elevators close behind us, we heard this huge explosion that sounded like a bomb. It was such a loud noise, it knocked off the lights and stalled the elevator. ...
"I somehow got into the stairwell and there were more people there. When I began to try and direct down, another huge explosion like the first one hits. This one hits about two minutes later, although it's hard to tell, but I'm thinking, 'Oh. My God, these bastards put bombs in here like they did in 1993!'
When Cacchioli entered the 23rd floor, he found a "little man" holding a handkerchief in front of his face and hiding under the standpipes on the wall, used for pumping water on the floor in case of fire.
Leading the man by the arm, he then ran into a group down the hall of about 35 to 40 people, finding his way down the 23rd floor stairwell and beginning their descent to safety.
"Then as soon as we get in the stairwell, I hear another huge explosion like the other two. Then I heard bang, bang, bang - huge bangs - and surmised later it was the floors pan caking on top of one another. ... [Editor's note: At this point, Mr. Cacchioli was in the stairwell of the 23rd floor of the North Tower, approximately 850 feet below the airplane's point of impact at floors 93 to 98 and approximately 300 feet above ground level. The entire collapse of the North Tower occurred in only 11 seconds. It's unlikely the sounds referred to here by Mr. Cacchioli were floors pancaking since it took him several additional minutes to exit the building.]
When the group led by Cacchioli finally made it to the lobby level, he was unable to open the door at first, the concussion of the explosions or perhaps the south tower falling, jamming the lobby door.
Finally jarring it loose, the group entered the lobby finding total devastation with windows blown out and marble falling from the walls, but strangely no people. ...
Cacchioli was called to testify privately [before the 9/11 Commission] ... "My story was never mentioned in the final [9/11 Commission] report and I felt like I was being put on trial in a court room," said Cacchioli. "I finally walked out. They were trying to twist my words and make the story fit only what they wanted to hear. All I wanted to do was tell the truth and when they wouldn't let me do that, I walked out.
It was a disgrace to everyone, the victims and the family members who lost loved ones. I don't agree with the 9/11 Commission. The whole experience was terrible." http://www.arcticbeacon.com

Written statement 1/22/02: "We arrived at the Command Post located at West and Vesey streets at approximately 0935 hours. As a roll call was being taken of the responding Detectives, Tower #2 began to collapse. This occurred after a secondary explosion on the west side of the tower that appeared to take place in the area of the high 60’s. The area above the secondary explosion actually leaned to the west and then the collapse took place. The order to evacuate the area was given by D/Sgt. Ftizgerald and the undersigned rapidly retreated from the area, fleeing north on West Street, so as not to be engulfed in the ensuing debris field caused by the collapse." Let’s not forget 9/11 as the U.S. plummets into an orchestrated depression amid stories about another orchestrated flu pandemic like took place
in 1918, killing millions worldwide.
As former Gen. Ben Parton aptly put it, we are in a period of escalated violence, the second in a three stage takeover to turn the U.S. into a fascist state.
Of course, 9/11 was a key maneuver by the Vatican-led New World Order, moving us one step closer to a one world government and one world religion.
And looking at 9/11 as a mass murder crime scene, nothing about how the investigation was conducted makes any sense.
In 2007, the Arctic Beacon uncovered the following information:
There have been numerous 9/11 survivors and first responders who reported explosions going off before the Twin Towers fell, providing more than adequate eye-witness testimony that jet fuel, as reported by the government, was not the cause for the free-fall of the buildings.
However, this shocking evidence has been virtually ignored by official investigators, including the 9/11 Commission. Instead, official still cling to the flimsy theory that jet fuel from the two airliners caused the towers to topple, even though airplane collisions have never in the history of skyscrapers caused one to collapse.
Although there is plenty of physical evidence to show that towers collapsed in a free-fall due to a controlled demolition, it is this strong eye witness testimony by hundreds of witnesses that proves categorically that the government is purposely covering up its involvement in 9/11.
Years ago, the Arctic Beacon began interviewing numerous witnesses who reported explosions going off inside the Twin Towers just prior to the planes crashing into the upper floors, as well as explosions going off as the buildings came tumbling down in a free-fall.
In fact, this publication was one of the first to extensively tell the story of head janitor William Rodriguez, who along with 14 other people heard explosions emanating from the sub basement of the North Tower a split second after the impact of the jetliner on the top floors.
Rodriguez was huddled together with a group of people in a lower level office when he said:
“When I heard the sound of the explosion, the floor beneath my feet vibrated, the walls started cracking and it everything started shaking.”
Besides the testimony of Rodriguez and the 14 others, completely ignored by the 9/11 Commission, a man by the name of Felipe David who was filling vending machines in the North Tower sub levels, suffered third degree burns from the lower level explosions occurring just seconds after the airplane hitting on the top floors.
According to Rodriguez who ushered David to safety, the burns inflicted on the dying man who miraculously survived could not have come from the airplane fuel above but had to be the result of massive explosions emanating from the sub levels.
“Seconds after the first massive explosion below in the basement still rattled the floor, I hear another explosion from way above,” said Rodriguez. “Although I was unaware at the time, this was the airplane hitting the tower, it occurred moments after the first explosion.”
But before Rodriguez had time to think, co-worker Felipe David stormed into the basement office with severe burns on his face and arms, screaming for help and yelling “explosion! explosion! explosion!”
David had been in front of a nearby freight elevator on sub-level 1 about 400 feet from the office when fire burst out of the elevator shaft, causing his injuries.
“He was burned terribly,” said Rodriguez. “The skin was hanging off his hands and arms. His injuries couldn’t have come from the airplane above, but only from a massive explosion below. I don’t care what the government says, what scientists say. I saw a man burned terribly from a fire that was caused from an explosion below.
“I know there were explosives placed below the trade center. I helped a man to safety who is living proof, living proof the government story is a lie and a cover-up.” (Taken from earlier Arctic Beacon stories.)
Besides this harrowing account, The Arctic Beacon interviewed numerous other eyewitnesses who talked about similar explosions throughout the towers before they collapsed, one such witness being firefighter, Lou Cacchioli.
It is important to note as more and more credible witnesses came forward with similar accounts blowing holes wide open in the government’s 9/11 story, the only thing that remained constant was the stonewalling of this this testimony by the 9/11 Commission.
